I think this has been one of the best things in the smart home department for the security of your home and loved ones. The only downside is that you have to pay for Ring yearly to keep tabs on your old recordings.

Works well hardest part was sync found out need turn norton antivirus till you link it up my anti virus was evidently blocking it once your done dont forget turn your anti virus back on caught on sale $99 video two

This unit was VERY good at the beginning! However when RING sold to Amazon, the options became limited and in order to get those options that came with the original purchase we would need to upgrade-which is not cool. The unit does what it should in terms of letting you know there is someone at the door (and the price was right) however the original options allowed the unit to announce "there is motion at the front door", now with the AMAZON cheap way-the unit only sends the "chimes" sound to alert you there is activity-I do not see the need to "upgrade" until needed-but felt gypped they changed the "software" to a "generic" type of RING and took away the components that we originally purchased it for and the reasons. Bait and switch. We wrote to RING consumer board but never heard back.

I've owned the Ring Doorbell version 1 for some time now, and this version 2 is definitely a step above in quality, feature, and reliability. I will upgrade to the Pro next holiday season when they are under $100.

I love the range that the ring covers. During the day the picture is clear and I can hear perfect and visitors can also hear me fine. I wish the picture was a little better at night but it is still god enough to set the sensor off and get basic details if need be.

I can keep an eye on my house when I am at work. One time, someone I didn't know pulled into my driveway late at night. I was able to investigate and I believe me looking out the window caused them to drive off.

Good camera with a very clear picture. I feel more secure and don’t have to open door to speak to someone. I also like being able to view my property even when I’m not home which is especially helpful when I am expecting a delivery.

What can I say? I was in San Jose, Costa Rica, on business and could monitor in real-time when UPS dropped a package at my home. Stopped thinking of this as a toy and accepted that it is a serious security tool.

The ring 2 is great for viewing and monitoring your front door. Drawback is it doesn't work well with google assistant, and needs way too many steps to work with alexa. Good as a stand alone app. And the battery makes it extremely versatile, where there is no existing bell.

We never thought the ring would be this great. Often times technology takes a long time to get something right and the ring managed to break into security in a unique and sustainable way. Our family is much safer because of the ring.

Live in an older house. Doorbell stopped working awhile ago. Had the opportunity to get this on sale. Has worked nicely. Took several houses to charge battery but the charge has lasted 2+ months so far (down to about 1/4 charge now). Win 10 and Android apps are good.

We are very happy with the doorbell and community that comes with it. It's nice to be able to see and hear the challenges faced in your community. The doorbell and service helps us feel more secure in our home.

There are others out there but the Ring is the best, video will appear on Echo shows, fire TVs, fire sticks and cubes. Works with alexa routines. You can go wrong especially if you already have echo/Alexa devices.

Absolutely love my ring doorbell 2. I can what's going on without even being home. Puts me at ease when I'm at work if a package is delivered that I would see if someone takes. Would recommend that everyone buy one lol

Setting up the Ring doorbell was super easy and the install no brains. My house faces a street so I had to use the wizard to make sure that every car going by didn’t set it off, but once configured it has been great. I went out and got a second one too.

Great product!!! Makes me have ease of mind when my elderly mom leaves the house without saying where she is going. I can actually see when she goes out and comes back in.

Love this gift, I feel safer and can monitor delivery’s while being away and keep an eye on things while I’m away from home. We loved it so much we purchased more Ring cameras for outside/driveway and for inside

This is a wonderful product. I was able to view and know when someone is around my home. There was even a kid curious to walk up to the door pr as the button and ran off... a clear image of the neighborhood kid, he has not come back since.

The downfall is always having to change the battery if you don't have it wired. You have to also adjust the motion sensor so that it doesn't drain the battery as well. If you have other cameras this is great as a doorbell.
