Do not rely on this to always know if there’s activity. It’s not consistent on picking up movement. 75% of the time it catches people. 50 percent maybe for vehicle pulling in driveway. I played around with mounting and settings and it’s just okay At best-nothing stellar. Also recording is delayed enough that if it does see a car it’s likely stopped and person coming out of car may not even be captured on camera. Even when home notification is minimum 30 second after detection. I’m guessing priority is on having battery last but it’s way too slow. I can’t comment on how this stacks up against other doorbell cameras but if security is your goal research other solutions and don’t go this route.

I have the ring for over a month now an I really like it. I'm not sure if it's my internet connection but at times if I want to go to live view it takes forever to load up or even show a vision. The battery life is great lasted maybe 4 weeks before I had to charge it.

Love this. Have an AirBnB & now I can see folks arrive & meet them at the door. Saw UPS place a package where I never would have looked for it. Also works when bugs walk across the camera & squirrels walk across the railing!

My only regret was that I did not purchase one sooner! I love that I can view whomever steps on my porch, now I know what time my daughter sneaks in at night, saves from confortations. Many valuable uses! Highly recommended !

This is perfect for my home it alerts on all the motion that I set it at.. the plus is you can have different alerts in different seasons of the year that alone makes it fun. And the camera is amazing I can see every detail.

Love the easy installation and camera detail. I can see everything outside with just the push of a button or through my echo by asking Alexa to show me the front door. Would definitely buy another and expand!

Looked at a lot of others but chose the Ring! It has a lot of great software features that allows you to see everything clearly away or at home. Really great product and very easy to install!!!

Camera takes good video and see a lot of the surrounding area. I would suggest hardwiring it your electric source. With kids and pets in and out all day it gets drained pretty quickly. It’s easy too charge but just a pain too do it if you have several cameras.

We got this ring camera for extra security when we're not home. The video is good you can zoom in and out at the videos for better details. Sound is good, we paid for the recording feature which if you don't there's not point of getting this.

Install was a breeze and setup done within minutes. Got a great deal on the unit. However, warning ahead: this product is a gateway drug to more Ring products, once you get one, you immediately want more.

I just LOVE this door bell. I highly recommend it to everyone. To be able to answer the door when your not even home helps with security. I wished I would’ve bought it sooner that all.

I love this video doorbell. The picture quality is great. The only downside of this product is you will get alerts about everything from a strong wind to a car driving by. I personally rather get false alarms than have something missed, but it drives my husband crazy

Had it for a month now. It works fine for it be battery powered. The batter has been holding up as well. We’ll see how long it goes until the battery dies. I did purchase a backup battery pack to have

the doorbell has worked well in my house, it has a good camera that is quite clear. The box contained all of the tools needed and even a little level. The motion sensing has been somewhat too sensitive but I can adjust that

Bought it for my daughter. Mechanically I hooked it at her house up but she set it up. It worked as soon as I connected it to the existing bell She called me and told me that it was working and that she had done the app setup the night before.

Great doorbell. Does exactly what it's supposed to do. The battery life is a little disappointing but we get a lot of traffic in and out of our house. However, it's a high-quality low-budget security option.

The camera takes great video. We love the notifications because our driveway and side door are not visible from our kitchen and living room. The notifications are nice when your not home, it gives you a sense of security!
