Easy to install and works awesome! Make sure you know if you want a direct wired one or not before purchasing this is not direct wire system, which is just what I wanted being in an apartment complex.

The features are fantastic, I replaced my ring pro with this Ring Video Doorbell 2 and the video is much improvement. The upgrade has several improvements that makes the device worth the cost.

This makes life easier in so many ways. My wired doorbell died, due to an electrical problem, and I wanted to make things easier, so I went with this. When it works, its phenomenal. However, it does seem to have connection issues. It will give me low wifi warnings, but (1) I have range extenders, and (2) I have tested the actual reception, and there are no issues. It took a while to get the settings right so that it wasn't picking up every little leaf that blew by, but that's on me. It would likely be better for traditional houses that are set off from the street a good ways, but if you are patient with getting it set up right, it is good for city dwellers. I highly suggest investing in a second battery, because it will burn through if you live somewhere active.

Bought this because we don't currently have a doorbell or wiring for one at the front door. works great when linked to an echo as a chime and the video quality is decent for a battery powered camera.

I feel a lot more secure knowing who is in front of my door at all times. It tells me when a package is delivered and makes me feel secure that I can see someone if they try to steal package it is a deterrent.

Purchased during thanks giving deal, and it is excellent. Easy installation/configuration. We loved the motion zones to identify the motion detection and report it back and with more lot features.

Love this product! The battery last six months wired into the doorbell, with a lot of activity at the front door. Takes awhile to recharge the battery, so I bought a extra battery just to swap it out.

My Ring doorbell runs off the battery. I have mine set up to take an imagine every 6 seconds. That requires more battery usage but I still only have to charge the battery every few months.

Love it, very good buy for home security and convenience with peace of mind does not matter if you are home or away. It is very simple and straight forward in installation and use.

Quality is good but unless you have a strong wi-fi signal, there might be delays in alert notification and viewing the liveview. Did place a signal booster but still seems to catch the view after the event has taken place. Otherwise, everything else is decent.

This doorbell is so nice! Daytime video quality is impressive. Nighttime isn't as good, but still satisfactory. All in all,we're glad we have this and actually wouldn't mind having a second one!

Easy to set up. Customer care answered quick when I had a question and was extremely helpful! So happy I bought this! Can communicate with neighbors and sync with other ring products for one low monthly fee.

I gave it five stars I really should’ve given it four I just wish I didn’t have to additionally purchase a chime pro extender to be able to get a better video reception. But it is just so wonderful and handy!

This ring video doorbell camera works pretty dang good. Sometimes we’ll get a notification that’s there’s movement but there’s nothing there, no big deal. It’s nice to have the peace of mind that your front door or wherever you put it is monitored.

After using this after almost a year now, I have to say I’m pretty disappointed. We have several Ring cameras and all work great after some constant adjustments. However my biggest complaint is the lag time buffering. After getting the notification on my phone, by the time I can go “Live” the person at the door is gone. I have excellent wireless signal strength at home so that is not the issue. The TV commercials are unrealistic in my experience. The video quality is great and the ability to check in on my house at any time is a plus. Hopefully in the future the Ring team will have a firmware update to help this!

I had an old school door bell in my home when I purchased it a few years but it never worked. I finally decided to purchase this so I could know if and when people were at my door. Lovely quality, however the night vision could use a little work.

Excellent device. Love that I can see who is at the front door and communicate with the person whether I’m at home or away. Best purchase ever and I feel safer being able to keep an eye on my house remotely.

I have enjoyed the doorbell, but it picks up quite a bit of unwanted motion. I have adjusted the zone and it got better, but still sensitive. Also, I keep getting low battery alerts, but the battery is charged.

Best in its class. Easy to install even in the dark when I had time. Simply remove and replace , the rest is in your hand (cell phone). I set the phone and the Alexa best thing ever for my in laws.
