I'm glad Ring came out with a 1080 doorbell because Ring owners who saw my Arlo videos were jealous of the quality. Also, Ring gadgets are easier to set up than Arlo especially with this one supporting both 2.4 and 5 gigahertz. I had to go through serious hoops to get the Arlo to work with my modem.

The video quality is great for our apartment complex hallway where we have had packages stolen and even some more serious crime. Love the motion detection and the set up was super easy. Keep in mind that the recording function, as in saving to the web, is not free for the lifetime of this item. It is subscription based.
