Great Ring doorbell system but needs more system improvements for better picture quality

Works great! Clear picture quality and long battery life

Spent some time determining which system I would go with cause if you buy one piece, your going to have to go with the whole brand down the line. Very happy with Ring system and the app isn’t clunky at all. As long as your home Wi-Fi is good enough you won’t have any problems. Also take your time setting up the devices settings or else’s the defaults might be triggering to frequently.

Very happy to have it. Works well setup is easy, even if you have never installed a doorbell before. They walk you through the steps. One thing though. Since you want to start with a battery that is fully charged, allow a long time for the battery to charge completely. It took seven hours after I opened it before I could install it. Not a complaint but rather a heads up.

Works great. Does what it is supposed to. I had it for roughly a month with no issues.

I like the feature of battery or wired. I have yet to install it.

First off, I will say the installation process of this doorbell was much easier than I initially thought it would be. I actually replaced my existing doorbell on my newly constructed home. The device works exactly as advertised, but I will say the time between receiving notifications of either a motion detected or a person detected (outside of ringing the actual doorbell) even with the pre-roll recording is not immediate or real time. There’s about a 1 - 2 minute delay and by the time you get to the notification whomever or whatever it was that trigger the alert is long gone. Other than that the camera is super clear HD and allows your to capture anything or anyone that is within the Ring doorbell’s camera.

Met all my expectations and performed as advertised

Very happy with Ring Doorbell4 and Geek Squad installer who did a great install and walked us through installing link on our phones. Only had to adjust the parameters so that every car passing our house didn't set off the alert. Looking forward to installing more security cameras in the near future. Thank you Best Buy!

Make sure you buy a back up battery. The settings let you tweak it a bit for better battery life but at the expense of security
