Great product. Alerts me immediately to motion or a ring. Maintains video for a reasonable time at a reasonable cost, but most of all, provides me with excellent piece of mind. A very modest cost when it comes to a first line security device.

The doorbell works great and is easy to set up. It is a little wide and can be tricky to mount unless you have flat door trim.

It gives me the added security I need not having to open the door to see who's within my privacy range nor to talk to a stranger caller... and giving an impression I'm home even when away. I just had to buy a Wi-Fi extender to keep a better Wi-Fi on it so the talks are more audible. I love it.

It needs a master answerer. We all try to answer at once and that doesn't work very well.

Chose this over the newer model after comparing. Works fine for my needs. Easy to install, responsive, well worth the price.

I really like this product. You can see who is at your door when you are home or away. The first one I bought I returned because the sound was very poor and the notification was too delayed. The second one did the same thing so I called Ring. Great customer service by the way. Found out I needed a higher upload speed on my internet service. They should put the reccommended requirements on the box. Once I upgraded my internet service to 2 mb upload speed, it worked fine.

Talk about feeling SAFE! This is the best feeling of safety! Subscription as low as $30 year or Plus for $100/year! Easy to install, easy to use on a smartphone! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend! Covers a LARGE area or just long hallway and your entry way! Spend your money on safety this way! My goodness, as a single person, feel so great about this purchase, I cannot share it enough! I live in an apartment complex that requires a key to get in; but non-residents still get in by the droves, I am so grateful for this product!

the camera works well but the motion detector option I have set at 5-6 feet yet it still registers motion out in the street at least 30 feet away

Great video doorbell! It took a long time to charge the battery even when wired doorbell, not just hours but days I installed it a week ago and it is only at 40% charge.. Once it reached around 20-30 percent charge we were able to use the Live View function and set up the Motion detection. If I had known it would take days to charge, I would have charged it prior to installing. You only get updates to the battery level only when it is used (pressing the button) or when it detects motion. Works on Multiple mobile and computing platforms as well as a stand alone door bell.

Not a bad door bell camera. Washes out n the sunlight somewhat. Decent infrared with a little wash out at distances as well. Weird cracking/popping noises on the mic. But it is not a bad door cam when on sale. Next time id opt for the 1080p.

This camera is great for seeing those people at your door before you answer it. Love how you can talk to the person as well.

This doorbell works great. If your looking for extra security at a low price and easy set up. This is it. The quality of the picture is excellent.

The video doorbell works great. It even captures Birds flying by or having a snack in the bird feeder. I just wish it used a solar panel instead of unscrewing it and plugging it in to charge.

The Ring doorbell is a wonderful tool to help secure an otherwise blind spot at our front door. Provides a since of security both when in the house and away. Very easy to install.

Great and easy to setup. Unit just need to be charge until full before use. Motion detector is pretty sensitive, it even alerts if there’s a slight movement

Expensive doorbell, I set it to short range and big vehicles activate the motion sensor. Doesn't live stream video unless activated by ringing bell or motion. Wish I can just turn on camera whenever I want.

I like this concept a lot. I find I must be on Wi-Fi in order for my smart phone to answer in time to watch and talk. I also am having false triggers when cars pass by the house even when I have it set for 5 foot. The resolution is adequate and the sound pickup is really good. The fact that it is stored in the cloud for review is the real selling point for me. Even if I cannot answer in time I have evidence of soomeone approaching my front door with video and sound.

Works just as described, alerts you for motion or when the doorbell rings.Install was pretty easy and no need for power, due to it';s internal battery.

Installed the unit and it worked perfectly for a week. It quit sensing motion and would not activate live view. I had to completely uninstall the unit and remove all items from the router before it would reboot. Now the picture is pixelated and I cannot get it to show HD. Very disappointed in the available troubleshooting information, all recommendations proved useless. I expected better concerning the price point.

This is one of the products that is a must have for the smart home. We have had ours for a few months now and I have zero complaints. The best part is it can be wired in, or setup for battery mode. The battery last for about 2 months in my case, but totally worth it.
