This doorbell is easy to setup and get started right away. Clear picture and lasts a fair while on battery.

The ring doorbell is great. It was easy to install, set up was a breeze and now I can see whenever there is someone at my door.

Looked at the Ring 2 and Pro, but at this price point, the Ring gen 1 has all the same bells and whistles the others have. I like having the battery option so the Pro wasn't an option, and did not mind having 720p, as opposed to 1080p res.

The Ring doorbell is a great idea that has improved over time. Image quality is good. New features have come with software updates. It captures video and sound, but will very occasionally begin recording too late.

I just installed the Ring Doorbell. It works great and keeps me posted at who’s walking up to my door and records what they are doing! I love this item and recommend for everyone. You do need good internet service though to avoid delays...

The Ring doorbell is amazing! It is nice to be able to see who is at the front door without having to come downstair or stop what I am doing. The only issue that I have with it is that it tend to notify me almost every time someone drives past my house....and I live across from an elementary school so when the parents are picking up it goes off a lot! I am working on adjusting that and then it will be perfect! Great product!

Works great. Super easy to install on existing door bell wiring. Video quality is good, but not great, but perfectly fine. Works as advertised

Needs ability to view real-time from the app, not just motion and having to pay for video capture is B.S. in this day and age. Just email or text the image or allow it to be saved to Google drive or MS one drive.

The ring doorbell works really great and as expected, my only disappointment was to find out that it does not save video footage. You have to pay extra for in order to keep the videos in the event you need them.

This is my second Ring Doorbell purchase. Since Ring upgraded the device to include the "Live View" feature, I decided that I could get better coverage of my property on demand using the new feature at any time. I recommend this product.

Anyone looking for affordable home security should definitely look into Ring. I've been very happy using their products. I purchased this Ring camera after borrowing my friend's for months. It works great except sometimes it doesn't always report everything to my phone or the app. A problem I rarely had when using my friend's camera that's the same exact model and everything. They're easy to install and use. And the video files are super easy to send and report strange activity.

I bought this on sale at Best Buy and I still can't believe the price! I live alone and the added security that this doorbell provides is awesome! If you are debating on whether or not to buy this, BUY IT! You won't be disappointed!

Easy mounting instructions and set up. Great camera and has a large picture range. Good buy.

The product is working ok so far. Motion zone setiing seems does not work well. Set to cover about 15 feet, however, it still alert for any motion 25-30 feed away.

only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is because they just released a new generation with better battery life and 1080p camera that is very clear. I own two of these and one of the new ones. The 'subscription ' service is very reasonable, if you get the highest teir will cover all devices no matter how many you get. Each device also comes with 30 days free, which will add on to your current service time!

I was super excited to install and see how clear the video was. It is very efficient at picking up movement of people arriving or driving by. I have enjoyed viewing the videos UNTIL the day I COULD NOT any more. Apparently I did not completely understand, that not only did i need to purchase a 100.00 door bell but i had to purchase a MONTHLY fee to use the $100 door bell in the way it was intended. I have yet to decide if it is worth it to pay the monthly fee to use my new door bell.
