Ring doorbell has great picture and sound. Nice features that contact you once motion is sensed. Easy to install and use.

So far, I'm happy with this being my first video door bell. It was easy for my wife to use the app on her phone once I set up and it is cool to be able to talk through the speaker before opening the door. Now that I am using it regularly to check the view at the door, I realize the 720p resolution is sometimes limiting. On a future upgrade, I'll definitely move up the product versions where they have 1080p resolution.

The is an awesome product, I am really happy with it. The set up was really easy and the app is really nice, you are able to track crime in your neighborhood and other areas nearby. I love having the ability to upload videos of strange activity in the neighborhood. I wasn’t aware that I needed to subscribe to a service plan, I thought it was similar to the blink camera system, but three dollars a month for basic service isn’t that bad.

The ring has been great for a simple security device for our house. It is very affordable with affordable add ons!

I like Ring products and thought this would be a good buy for $100 on Black Friday. Didn't realize both Best Buy and ring would leave the price at $100 indefinitely so it wasn't really a bargain but it is still a good product.

I purchased this for my daughter who is at work all day and is constantly getting packages delivered to door. She can talk to person delivering as to where to leave package or come back at a more convient time. Plus she has caught a person trying to look at package left at door and scared them away... Also, she can see who ringing doorbell while she is home to determine if she will Open the door or not. Worth every penny....

I would have given the ring 5 stars, except it goes offline and I have to reconnect. Sometimes it misses action at my front door and has missed some major incidents as well. But, that being said it is very helpful, when online. You will also need to purchase a Ring plan, to fully utilize all of the features. Make sure you do it before your trial plan expires or all of the recordings during the trial period will be deleted.

The device works as expected captures good audio and video and was easy to connect to my Wi-Fi.

I bought the ring doorbell about a month ago. I absolutely love it!! No one comes in my yard without me knowing. Pizzas coming... don’t worry you’ll never miss it. Someone’s here but you weren’t expecting company.. who is it. Oh fed ex, great I can get my package off the porch before someone ‘else’ does. Just love this thing and once you buy it and install the app you don’t have to spend more money for it to work unless you want to save videos for extended periods of time.

Video looks great, doorbell works good but the motion detection is spotty at best. I've been messing with this thing for months trying get it adjusted and the latency is poor. Ring needs to allow direct access between the doorbell and the app. It is poor even when I'm on home network. Having to go through their slow servers first defeats the motion security aspect with long lag. I'm well over 50 with bad knees and I can get up my steep steps, on the porch, grab a package and limp down the steps before the motion picks me up. Very useless for security. I have to stay in front about 10 seconds before I get an alert. A quick kid can get up, jump a couple of times, grab a package and I never see them. I have tested it. My setting is on frequent & longer range than it should be. I had 2 different flyers placed on my door recently, NO alert at all!!! Even if delivery rings my doorbell and leave, I only see their back. Regret buying but, too late. Ring, fix your server latency! Its not my ISP, everything else works fine.

Simple to set up and to get started. Takes some time to set for distances and sensitivity for alerts.

I feel very happy purchasing this ring item from best buy it makes me more confident to know i can view from distances anywhere i am all happening in my yard and near my home .now i can see whos at my door before i answer..

If u are tech savy.....this doorbell works great home Or even not at home....it's my new watch dog. If u have no power to the bell it has a battery. I do charge it once a month I don't mind because the benefits are great
