Easy setup, great video w distance and clear audio. Just what I wanted. Perfect

I like this for the most part, but I find that it detects large cars driving by on my street, but won't detect me until I am right up on top of it. Kinda renders it useless because someone could run up and grab a package really fast and I would get their face. I am set back from the curb about 25 feet, so it might be different if your front door is further back because you could set the motion range better.

This doorbell was very easy to install with two wires. It comes with everything you need including a screwdriver. The picture works great if you have good wifi. I had to get an Airport Express to extend the signal. Once that happened it worked great. $30 per year for the cloud is too expensive. All in all, good value. I got this on sale.

I love my ring. The view is clear and has a wide angle. It even let's you know if someone is just standing at your door by notifying you. It's a great product and you can check it from home.

The use of the Ringer has been very beneficial for my family. It has help us to id people when they come to the door and not to open to ones that we aren't familiar with. I really enjoy it!

Was easy to install, easy to setup and easy to use. Only "con" is video resolution is only 720p. I upgraded to Ring 2 with full HD 1080p resolution-much better video details for ID of people. (Installation/setup of Ring 2 not so easy though, but battery has HUGE capacity!) Recommend Ring 2 over basic Ring doorbell/camera, if you can afford it. Otherwise this "basic" unit is acceptable.

At first we did not completely charge the unit before installing & even though it is hard wired it quickly ran down the battery because we had the sensor at the highest level & the unit was recording every thing that passed by this draining the battery. So we removed it & charged completely & turned down the sensor & now it recharges on its on & we love how we can check who is at the door before answering. We will be getting one for our back door to monitor it too!

Good security some false alarms due to high sensitivity settings I am using. Overall very good

We really like having the security, but it’s a Big pain to take it off every week or two to recharge it. Our first one died after a couple of months, but they sent a new one. Took several hours to get the new one installed. You also don’t get to see the videos unless you subscribe.

I have been using this item for work and we ring it over 85 times a day. We have had very little problems. It works well with the solar kit... I never have to worry about charging the item.

It’s good to know who is at your door before you answer it and the ring doorbell does just that. It’s also great for knowing when you’ve had deliveries to your door.
