I have three rings! One at the front door, side door and back deck. I feel more secure now in my home or when I’m away . The picture quality is clear in the daytime but the night view is not so clear . One negative is when the temperature gets very cold the lens freezes over and you can’t see anything . We do not have roofs on the porches so maybe that’s the reason.

The camera on this model is lower resolution, but I'm using it along side a separate Ring camera I have positioned at a different angle. If I were *only* using this camera, I would suggest upgrading to a model with higher resolution. Otherwise, it's very quick and simple to set up...you do need to fully charge the battery before you can proceed with set up.

The basic model is to side for the door frame. It required drill into brick. If you have brick get the narrow version. The motion sensor is nice as let you know who is coming. Mine is set at 6 ft but trips when a car passes by at 40 feet. I has good video quality and nice interface with a smart phone so you can talk to people if you are not home. help full video. Tried 3 times. Called help desk. After more tries, 2nd level support said Ring does not connect to Arris. They will send Chime Pro at no cost to allow connection.

This is my 2nd Ring doorbell and it's just so dang easy to install, and to use. I love being able to keep an eye on my front door, as well as my front sidewalk and driveway from my camera. I also use the battery as I do not have a hardwire out to my front courtyard gate. The battery lasts for a few months and let's me know when it is running low.

It would be really nice, if I was able to just turn on the camera just to see who's outside. There are times when there's a delay.

I think this is a great product overall. It took me 5 minutes to hook it up and I wired it in place of our existing door bell. I don't have the motion controls on like I probably should, but mainly use it for the Live Feed feature. It's nice to see who is at the door if I'm in my basement or somewhere else in the house too! Overall, so far so good and I'm hoping it continues to be a great product.

This was easy to install and great if you dont have a wired door bell. Easy to set up and great it comes with lifetime protection. Configuration is done via an app and very easy to use. To get continues cloud recordings you need to pay for the service $30 p.a. Love it

...it's slow. The makers of this product got it right - the thing works exactly like it says it does and to be honest, it's a peace of mind. If you've seen the video and read about it, it's just like that...so easy to install and to get it up and running - the clarity of the video - being able to communicate with the person who rang it - it freaking works guys - have faith LOL...but the 4 star rating is because I believe it's too slow. It takes upwards to 45+ seconds for it to load the video part. I tested it many times and I've gotten all the way INTO the house before the "motion" detection is shown. I've left the house, got in the car and was at the end of my drive way before it alerted me - that whole process of leaving/car/drive can take me a minute + (I have a big place) so I think it's slow.... I also think it may have to do with my cell phone, as it is at least 5 years old - but I don't know, and I'm certainly not going to buy a new one just to see if that's the problem... It works folks, and if I can get the latency down (the delay between the motion and IT showing it to you), I plan on buying 2 more (like I said, I've got a huge place lol). I recommend it

This product works as intended. Connecting to WiFi was a breeze. The only issue is the video quality (720p). When you try to zoom in, it becomes pixelated fast!2

I recently purchased the Ring Wi-Fi Doorbell to enable me to see who is approaching and/or entering the front door of my residence. This simple device is not only an excellent security feature, but also allows me to keep track of when my senior parent is coming and going. In addition, I am able to view each notification (24x7) while away from my residence. I highly recommend the Ring Wi-Fi Doorbell.

It was easy to install. Has an excellent picture and the voice feature comes in handy.

I had high expectations with this product and it hasn't let me down. notifies me the minute someone comes to the door or when the mail gets delivered. I highly recommend this product.

I love the fact that I can see who comes to my front door. I have the option to speak to them right at that moment. Only cons is sometimes the picture distorted.

I am so excited about this product. Like Beyonce says "if you like it you better put a ring on it", I love my house and I did just that. Being able to allow speak to people at the door without moving a sick child off of your lap priceless. Being able to give the delivery person specific instruction - amazing. The price of this item is a deal. I can see every detail, even beyond the door. I just dont know how I survived without this... #PutARingOnIt

It took less than 30 minutes to install. You can monitor and answer your door anytime and from anywhere.

This ring bell is awesome the only thing is if you want record have to make monthly like $3.00or if you just want to check live camera is no monthly but you cannot check olders videos
