People can share the videos on ring. That way we can gives heads up what is happening to other ring owners. My grandkids came over I shared their video on my Facebook it was to funny.

It seems to do the job, my modem is not that far from the ring and if seems to not get the best signal. Some of the footage is staticky or it takes a while for me to see the live view

I have been admiring the Ring doorbell since it was released and finally bought one last week. After using it for only one week, it is clear this device has many shortcomings. The camera on the Ring is motion activated, which means it is not recording until motion is detected. This would be fine if the motion detection was consistent. Unfortunately, it is often tripped by cars driving by but will completely miss a package being delivered. I have yet to see someone walking up to my door, which happens on a daily basis. One would expect motion to be detected before a person could Ring the doorbell, but it takes too long for the recording to start for this to happen. All of my recordings are missing the critical events because the recording took too long to begin. The next issue is the video quality. It is too blurry to make out faces and the brightness is not adjustable. This means you will be able to see someone at the door but you won't be able to identify them unless they put their face up to the camera. The Ring is a complete disappointment for me. I will be returning this doorbell for a proper camera.

Easy to install. Great picture. Now I wished I had purchased update one.

Seemed to be a simple install but some basic snafu's it is working fine. Did not work at first but after a little help from tech support all is well. I like it.

Easy to install, good quality. Had to audial the range down so it didn’t detect cars on the street.

the ring is a nice door bell but its a bit sensitive with motion an the app is a bit slow some time but over all nice .

I absolutely love my Ring Doorbell. It is so nice being able to communicate with people when you are unable to go to the door. Just yesterday I was giving my child a bath and someone came to the door. I was able to communicate with them since I will not leave my child alone in the bathtub. Not to mention that this helps with security and puts my mind at ease. I always know when some one is approaching my door even when they don't ring the door bell.

This product is definitely worth the price. For best results, make sure you have good wifi signal around the area where you’ll be installing your ring doorbell.

The regular camera is much better than the doorbell I wished I would have got another one of those instead the doorbell

Delivers and works as promised. Did have an electrical issue with the mounting plate but Ring Support is excellent and they sent me a new one. So far, so good.

I love this thing. I'm able to see everything happening in front of my house while I'm at work and I'm always aware of when mail and/or packages are delivered.

Overall, not displeased with the doorbell. The newer versions certainly have a better picture, but that comes with some cost. Would recommend for someone looking for a cost effective solution and not concerned as much with the video quality. Pretty easy to install. Make sure you have a good 2.4ghz WiFi signal, this does not support 5ghz signals.

This was one of the top items on our Christmas list. Our neighborhood has had individuals ring our doorbell late at night and one of them had the "Ring" and captured them on camera.
