It does have a 180 degree view and records people coming to your door. It also has a feature you can talk to the person at your door when you're not home. It is easy to install. One inconvenience is you need to charge the battery inside the device about once a month to keep it working.

Too wide

I realize you can use it wirelessly but that defeats the purpose of replacing the doorbell on the house. I need a slimmer option. So, instead, I got a camera at the front door and kept the doorbell...too bad ring didn’t have a good option for me. I love my boyfriend’s Ring doorbell!

Great doorbell

It's great to see anyone cutting through our back yard. We didn't have a doorbell for back door, so have to use the battery. Depending on how much activity is in our back yard, we have to charge the doorbell every few months. But that's easy to do and so worth it.

The resolution of the Camera is just Ok. The wired installation required additional care to check voltage output from old ringbell so that the camera gets power from the wired voltage output not the battery. The support team at Ring is helpful.
