We have really enjoyed this product! Setup was not difficult, and I was very impressed with the quality of the video and sound. The range of motion can also be adjusted to your liking. When I'm at work, I can still monitor what's going on at my house, whether it's the lawn service, a delivery, or one of my kids' friends coming over. Great company and great product!

The camera quality is not that great. I would recommend buying the next version. But the motion sensing and night mode works like a charm

I like that it notifies me when someone walks up to the door. The downside is sometimes I get fake notifications when leaves blow or cars drive pass the house

I ordered this item based on many recommendations from family and friends. Also looked up the second generation and went with simplicity.

How can you beat the price of having a way to answer your door without opening the door or being at home and having a visual on the person on the other side.

I have 5 ring products in several locations. They work very nicely. The problems I have is that they go off so often that the battery will run down> Consider hard wiring them. The other issue is the delay in seeing the transmission after the Ring product is activated. It may take 10 seconds to see the area you are watching. It still is a great product with very easy connections to wifi.

Couldn't ask for a more perfect way to answer the front door with security and safety in mind. Not only can you answer the door when you are home to screen who is ringing your doorbell, but also to answer the door when you are away so that strangers will think you are home!

This does it’s job but I try to make it into zones because we are at a T section Street and every car passes by it goes off quite irritating And also you would think when you had deliveries somebody would ring the doorbell so when you’re at work you know someone was there but they don’t

The installation was simple and the app that you download on your smartphone is also easy to use. I love that it records a video when it detects motion, not just when the doorbell rings. The only con here is that I live on a main road and that sometimes it will detect cars passing by and alert me someone is there when they are not. But overall, great product.

The Ring! I’m certain that everyone needs one of these. Not only because it actually helps the neighborhood the more people have it, but because it’s a product that is cheap and the home protection and surveillance you get is priceless. Don’t always think of it as surveillance, think of it as a device that lets you know if you got a package dropped at your door, etc.

Got this doorbell for added security and to see when someone approaches our front door. It seems to be a little too sensitive for motion, and it has a hard time getting a clear picture due to our covered entry. During the day, the bright sun whites out everything not under our covered entry. Overall, it serves its purpose.

My sister bought her husband one for his bday. They enjoyed it so much my brother wanted one, so we got him one for his bday next. They enjoy the easiness of seeing, and even speaking, to who is there when they cannot answer the door or are not home. They also found a night time spider scene fascinating and watching a bear look for food in their barn, LOL
