This camera works great, the camera is clear. Easy to use with app

The installation was simple and the app that you download on your smartphone is also easy to use. I love that it records a video when it detects motion, not just when the doorbell rings. The only con here is that I live on a main road and that sometimes it will detect cars passing by and alert me someone is there when they are not. But overall, great product.

Couldn't ask for a more perfect way to answer the front door with security and safety in mind. Not only can you answer the door when you are home to screen who is ringing your doorbell, but also to answer the door when you are away so that strangers will think you are home!

I purchased two Ring Video doorbells" new generation " and picked up this first generation Ring doorbell for an area that has a door , but not commonly used.After careful review, I found no difference in the quality or usage of the earlier generation. The only difference is the price, the new generation is approximately $100 more.

My sister bought her husband one for his bday. They enjoyed it so much my brother wanted one, so we got him one for his bday next. They enjoy the easiness of seeing, and even speaking, to who is there when they cannot answer the door or are not home. They also found a night time spider scene fascinating and watching a bear look for food in their barn, LOL

I like the ring doorbell, however I needed to purchase the chime extender as my Wi-Fi connections wasn't good due to distance and brick.

This was a gift so not sure how will work...but at first look recipient thought could be hooked up to current power of current doorbell

Love this product and the recent promotional price! So much so that I bought 2! One for me and one as a gift for my brother. Easy to install with EVERYTHING included, even the installation tools. Web connection is easy too and the Ring IOS ap on my phone works great for me. Enjoying the piece of mind even though it seems like I now get less ding-dongs :) at the door. That a good thing!

I was very pleased with the Ring doorbell, capable of watching who comes and goes from our house and when packages were delivered, etc.

The Ring doorbell has a good video picture and easy connection.

Product was at a great price and delivered quickly It's a Christmas gift so has not been used yet but looking forward to setting it up

I bought this because I have an easily accessible front door from the street and wanted to deter anybody from wandering to my front door, which admittedly has never been much of a problem. After install, I felt more secure immediately. Things I've learned- This is a 1st gen, so I do not know what the "newer" ones do or don't do. This device works just fine.. Mostly. A few times I have caught people walking away but it is usually neighbor kids and that was early on. The one downside, maybe this is done by newer models ldk. But I wish I could record continously and go back as needed.. I turn the sensitivity up and it tells me when the wind blows, I turn it down and I catch the back of people near my door. I got the setting as best i could and have added more cameras since so i dont solely rely on this device, but as a simple, quick solution it's easily worth the price I paid for peace of mind.. Do your research, and make sure it works for you.. otherwise, any security is better than none... God Bless.
