Happy with my purchase. Very cool features. Only thing that could be improved is the video/picture quality. Overall great purchase!

Easy installation using the tools supplied. Had a few setup questions and their service was the best I ever encountered. The motion sensor is very sensitive and takes a little patience to adjust. Mine is hard wired. There is a slight delay in the video if not answered immediately when the motion sensor alerts you. Livable.

Seen & pressed thousands of these at work and finally decided to buy one. Love it even though I wish I had purchased the newer model. Nevertheless, its amazing, works as described and now I have a doorbell. The live option is my favorite as I can see my home's surroundings 24/7... Super easy set up, definately would recommend!

The familiar look is enough to deter the neighborhood kids from ring and runs, which is worth the cost alone. Also, it records deliveries, which comes in handy if there’s a dispute over delivery. The motion sensor is mostly useless for me as, even on the lowest setting, it picks up every passing car (the road is about 25’ away).

Good Door Bell. My neighbor bought the upgraded model, and he has less issues than I do. The motion detector is spotty. Sometimes it senses a car all the way to the street, and at other times it doesn't sense someone standing at the door. The answer part works well. Perhaps an upgrade is in my future.

Only flaws are the latency when you get the notification and the motion sensor isn't reliable. There are times when the person comes up to the door and drops something off and leaves and by the time you get into app they're back is already to camera spend headed away. Besides that, when the doorbell is rang you see their face and can make out who they are.

Good quality for doorbell camera. Good settings to help limit notifications. However, I found it a pain to take it off and charge it all the time. It seemed the longer I used it the shorter the batter life became. If you don't mind that, it's fantastic!

I have been using the ring for a while now and it does what is advertised. The only thing I've had trouble with is the live view which could be because of my internet connection. Setup took about 30-45 minutes only because I hardwired this to my existing doorbell. Otherwise it would be quicker. Keep in mind that you have to pay $30 per year if you want to have cloud service.

I was surprised to read the reviews after purchase, that it requires a monthly fee to record data. This is a gift, however, so it is not yet installed.

I liked the idea of video security but after install I found that my wi fi was just too far away form the processor to pick up the signal. I have an older home with plaster walls etc so I installed a mesh system with really strong signal. This improved the video a bit but still not as clear as I would like. My two cents is that the MP needs a major upgrade for the unit to be effective. Still like the security aspect.

I bought this camera for a bit of home security since I have a roomate. Wanted to know who was coming into my house. It works great. I only have to charge it once a month. I did have to change position of the camera because it would pick up the cars going by. But other than that it's great. Since I got it 4 of my coworkers have bought one and they love it.

I would like option to view camera upon demand with being notified. For example I would like to view actual weather conditions at my front door.

I waited until live view was released and I've not been disappointed. Being able to see who's coming around even if they don't ring the bell is awesome. Also being able to "answer" the door from anywhere is great, no longer do I have to waste time with solicitors or let them know I'm not home by not answering the door.

I absolutely LOVE this doorbell it’s everything I imagined and more. I can see live views and receive alerts every time anything passes my front door.

This video door bell was easy to install with my existing wiring from my previous door bell.

Give a good view when someone is walking by or ringing the bell. I like that I can talk to whoever rings the doorbell and not have to come to the door

I love my Ring doorbell! It's very convenient and provides me with a sense of safety & security. I've had some issues with lag time but I suspect it is my wifi signal and once I setup a mesh system I hope that will improve. I installed it myself and the install was fairly straightforward. I've had it for a month and no complaints so far!

The Ring doorbell was a good product and set up was very easy. I would've given it 5 stars but there at some minor things i would love to see improve first. The video is only 720hd but not a deal breaker. Motion has a delay and at times the person or car has already started leaving the picture. I got one for my father in law too and he really liked it.
