This is an excellent product. I did not want to have an expensive home security system/service, but wanted the ability to monitor outside. I do pay the $30 annual fee to have access to recorded footage, which I think is a decent price. Installation was easy. I am looking at buying more Ring products for the back of the house also.

It has already paid for it self in the protection it gives; even while I was home. WE LOVE IT!!

I would give 5 stars if the camera option would connect quicker when someone does not ring the bell just senses them

I absolutely love this doorbell. I am able to see who is at my door and it alerts me of suspicious people in my neighborhood. I love it!

Although this is the first Ring it is not exactly like the orignal. I had returned the original that i purchased at Costco because the tool broke and i was not able to unscrew the ring to charge it. The only way to remove it was i had stripped the screws and i wouldve had to by the whole kit for $20 sold by the Ring. I wish i would've just purchased the kit because the orignal Ring would notify me immediately when anyone walks by. Now, the newer version of the original notifies me a little late. Even when i go back to the recording a lot of times it shows nothing, the person is long gone, even when they ring rhe doorbell. You might say it's the internet, well if that's the case, it's the same exact setup as the orginal. What i do like about it, is that it still does the job and i don't need any wires.

Was a little skeptical at first but the Ring door bell has come in handy. Can see who’s at your door and communicate with them even if you’re not home. The city we live in even has a program with the local police to help combat crime using the Ring doorbell. Recommend also the Ring Chime to go with the doorbell

The Ring video doorbell was a welcome gift to my brothers...they are security conscious, and this fit the bill for added piece of mind.

This is a great unit to have in my house since I have a solid door. I can see the activity outside from my phone even if I am not home.

Got this with the chime for my Daughter & Son-in Law for Xmas. Installed and set up in 15 minutes. Came with the appropriate tool, level and masonary bit. They thought of everything. Once connected to wi-fi and chime multiple choices for doorbell ring. Have already recommended it to friends and considering buying it for myself.

Especially handy when we're away. Guess I need to move the wind chimes, though, since they appear to be giving us many false alerts.

This product is great and has a clear picture, only issue we had is our router for the wifi it needed to be on wasn't strong enough to work through the front door so it needed to be upgraded as well. One feature we like is you can answer the door with your phone and will always give the impression that someone is always home.

I have been extremely satisfied with this Ring. The installation was a breeze, as it receives the power directly from the 24V default doorbell wiring. This thing sends me notifications directly to my phone (and Apple Watch) every time someone arrives at my door, even if they have not ringed the bell. I totally recommend this product.
