We have had this doorbell for several months now. I love the ability to see who is at the door when I am not at home. I was able to talk to the irrigation guy and let him know that I would be there in 2 minutes. 4 stars because occasionally it freezes. Not sure if it is the doorbell or my router.

Love being able to see my front door from Anywhere I go . Picture on the 1st generation is not as good but still a great product!

Small and convenient but installation was an issue as the door bell it replaced was larger and leaves a hole.

Great door bell, I think if they where to sell it with a bell for the interior of the house would be awesome.

We bought this one for the price , it does exactly what it’s suppose to. Picture isn’t as clear as the more expensive doorbell ring cameras but you get what you pay for. Still adjusting the sensitivity levels so the alerts don’t go off every time something walks passed the door

This Ring Video Doorbell does a great job in securing my house. It detects and records any person on your front door. Sensor can be adjusted and you can view real-time via the app and can speak via the camera’s speaker to talk to persons at the door. Definitely worth the purchase.

This thing picks up everything- including wind. We have adjusted it but would rather it over sensitive than under. It’s nice to be able to see who approaches before going to the door. Note: monitoring service costs past the trial period but we’ve found it beneficial- paying $100 for a year for 2 devices.

The ring doorbell is a great addition to any home. You can interact with people at the door from away from home or just when you have your hands full. Depending on your wifi speed there can be issues loading the video feed in time to actually speak with someone at the door before you are able to walk to the door. Sometimes the lag can be bad enough to only be able to catch the recap of the motion at the door. This leads to the big catch with the ring doorbell. I read a number of reviews and watched plenty of video to make sure I knew what i was getting, however after a month of being installed I was informed by Ring that I could no longer look at a motion alert or past ring without paying for a subscription. The cost is 6 dollars a month or 30 dollars for a year. Though a year subscription is not that expensive, no where in any of the videos or reviews had anyone mentioned a paid service required to make the Ring worth while. For the additional undisclosed expense to have full access to what the Ring can do I have to give it 4 stars.

So far we have enjoyed the ring doorbell when someone actually pushes the button. Our only real issue is when a package is dropped off at the front door. The recording usually starts after the package has already been delivered and the carrier is already gone. So you really do not get to see what actually happened..

This is an awesome invention. I love knowing that someone is at my front door even when I'm out back and can hear the doorbell.

Very easy to install and set up. Software very easy to use and modify. Sensitivity of motion detection at times is to sensitive but can be easily adjusted. Quality of video is good. Takes a second or two to adjust but very clear. Battery life is fantastic! Charged on installation 1 month ago, still has 60% left!

This was a gift to family members because we have the same one and love it... they are extremely happy and excited to have it !

With this video camera I can see with clear video and sound who come and go at my front door. My only problem is most of the time the video on my cell phone is delayed but it might be due to internet or low cell phone connection. Otherwise I recommend this to own.

We only wish it had the function of seeing what's happening outside without it being set off by motion or ringing of the bell

I bought 2 as gifts I already have 1 myself and just love it. Got these 2 for the price I paid for mine a year ago. Great find!

The door bell works as it is advertised. You can see the person at your door, and talk to each other. There are video recordings too. However it is not very compatible to my door bell. My model is listed in their website as compatible model. The issue is the music door bell will play the song randomly in the day and night. While the door bell is triggered this way, the Ring does not have any recording. Here is my best guess: The door bell is a music one with MCU inside. The MCU will detect voltage change from the switch line, which is a common MCU circuit design. The Ring is charged and powered by the switch wire. While there is something triggering the Ring start to compute, say its CPU load goes up, the power input end draws more power and lower the voltage on the switch lines, while the door bell it’s triggered. But the Ring spends more power at a time point, does not need to be a video recording. So the door bell playing music and the Ring has no video in it...

I had read the reviews before i bought my ring door bell i am so glad I purchased this door bell/camera it sends me alerts when activites are going on around my home i can watch the video of the activity in real time only regret i have, should have purchased it sooner

Great product that does everything that it says it would! Downloaded app to multiple devices and continues to work flawlessly.

Bought this camera to be able to check the weather outside home. Works well for this and watching who comes to the front door.
