The Ring doorbell is a great product. You can control it for any device through the app. Also can see who’s at your door at anytime and talk to them. The thing that I’d change is that it should come with the chime since it is a doorbell after all.

Like the doorbell. Takes a bit for it to alert my phone when the doorbell is pushed.

My first one kicked the bucket after just a week .. the second is still going strong

Great door bell and very easy to install and configure, took less then 10min from start to end and then can monitor every time. I highly recommend with all the things happening now a days. We can fully see and talk to individual before we open the door. Safety first

Its easy to install and set up. It's a good device for security. You can set the range you want the camera to catch. I like the things that's reported by your neighbors who has this device too, like a suspicious person or car to look out for in your neighborhood.

You have to really get used to it going off for little things. The direct setting sunlight would set mine off. Also major vehicles. I did adjust the distance but it still goes off. Also slow to connect to the live feed. Does it’s job well though

This is great for home security, to be able to monitor, even if you are not home how great is that!!!

The Ring doorbell is obviously one of the most popular video doorbells on the market. It has many helpful features through the use of the app such as, motion detection, live view video, 2 way audio, night vision and the option to record and watch video footage. One thing I hope they fix is the speed at which the ring app loads up when trying to view video footage (live or previously recorded) and improve the WiFi connectivity range of the doorbell itself. I found my ring having low signal connection problems and unable to view any video footage at times. I ultimately ended up upgrading to a mesh WiFi system just to solve this issue. My house is not extremely large and no other device had any connectivity issues prior to to the upgrade to the mesh WiFi system.

Simple to install with video directions in the app. Image is clear on my phone and works like a charm

ITS WORKS GREAT WHEN IT WORKS, IF THERES A CONNECTION LOSS YOU HAVE TO UNSCREW AND CONNECT AGAIN

At first I thought this was more of a gimic but I soon found out otherwise. The rRing not only works as a doorbell, the video and monitoring service is top rate. In addition, Ring neighborhood works as a neighborhood watch system, notifying me of nefarious characters in the neighborhood.

I was disappointed I had to unscrew every two day to recharge even on the lowest settings.The clarity of the picture is fine during the day except when the sun glares on it, at night time even with lights no so great.

I love the fact this product allows me to see who’s coming to the door and is especially great for deliveries. The one weakness (and it’s a biggie) is that it’s ability to hold a wi-if connectivity is iffy. It’s definitely the device, my other IoT devices are fine. I have heard that this has been addressed in the Ring 2.

We have a few issues. Mostly our wifi signal doesn't seem strong enough. The ring works fine most the time but at times we get a notification that the signal is weak. Also have issues with the motion detector. We have adjusted settings many times to no avail. But my husband likes it and says for the cost it is a pretty good device and he didn't want to return it. Customer service was diligent and helpful but not able to solve any of the problems. They even sent us a wifi extender free of charge which didn't help at all. Long story short, we kept it, it works properly about 80% of the time.

Love the Ring doorbell. Its better than I thought it would be. The quality of the image and sound are both pretty good. It's so sensitive that sometimes cars going by will set off my motion alert so I'm pretty sure anyone walking around the front of our house would set it off. Highly recommend!

Motion triggers on vehicles 40 feet in front of house even after selecting lower sensitivity. It even triggers on my small American flag on the porch when it blows in the wind - guess I'll have to move the flag. Worst thing is that when I get an alert, it takes 20 or 30 seconds before I can view the video of the event. By the time I switch to live view, the event is usually over so there is no chance to interact with the person who came onto my porch - nothing like the ads on tv. Even though I think it is worth having for the video records it provides, and I will suggest it to my friends -- but I will also make sure they know it is not everything we are led to believe it is.
