I love the fact this product allows me to see who’s coming to the door and is especially great for deliveries. The one weakness (and it’s a biggie) is that it’s ability to hold a wi-if connectivity is iffy. It’s definitely the device, my other IoT devices are fine. I have heard that this has been addressed in the Ring 2.

I love my ring doorbell. I was in South Carolina and my a friend came to our door to pick up my roommate. My roommate did not hear the bell, so I was able to talk to our friend to let her know I would contact the roommate in California and let them know she was there.

I purchased the Ring as a gift to my Son for his new home. He was extremely appreciative and after quickly getting it set up, he was able to monitor his home. It is a tool that helped him and his Girlfriend feel safe in a somewhat challenging neighborhood.

We have a few issues. Mostly our wifi signal doesn't seem strong enough. The ring works fine most the time but at times we get a notification that the signal is weak. Also have issues with the motion detector. We have adjusted settings many times to no avail. But my husband likes it and says for the cost it is a pretty good device and he didn't want to return it. Customer service was diligent and helpful but not able to solve any of the problems. They even sent us a wifi extender free of charge which didn't help at all. Long story short, we kept it, it works properly about 80% of the time.

Love the Ring doorbell. Its better than I thought it would be. The quality of the image and sound are both pretty good. It's so sensitive that sometimes cars going by will set off my motion alert so I'm pretty sure anyone walking around the front of our house would set it off. Highly recommend!

Great addition to the front door. We can see who is at the door and talk with them with out opening the door. Installed using the wire connection from the old door bell, so no battery required.

Great to see who is at your door whether i am at home or away from home. Great safety for my mother.

The ring doorbell is great i like to know who's at my door without having to run to the door and see

I love having an eye on people as they walk up to my door and the ability to talk to them without the need to open the door. Camera has great clarity and sound. The only issue I have had, sometimes it picks ups motion when nothing is there.

Great idea. Wish I thought of it. no more opening the door to unwanted solicitors.

1. Internal power and doorbell worked a couple of days and just stopped. Ring support know help and said technology is just flaky. 2. Disabling motion detection doesn’t work that well. Sometimes will still alert. 3. Alerts all the time even when the zone is at the minimum and my house is set back 30ft from road. 4. Cannot change the annoying alert sound on your mobile device. They couldn’t have selected a more annoying alert if they tried. Since it decided to stop ringing the indoor bell, it is no sound or an annoying chime that makes me want to stomp on my phone. 5. Exceptionally poor support from Ring. They have eliminated me as a customer for their other products. Great idea with poor execution.

Great for monitoring home but against bright sun the picture gets a little blurry.

Love this product but make sure if you buy it that you have a great intenet signal

It works great and the features are amazing. the only problem is it can be stolen

I've used this product for almost a month now and I love it. The battery lasts much longer than I anticipated. I'm still trying to set up the zones where I receive less notifications for cars just driving by, but overall I really like it. The video quality is decent.

We feel so much more secure having this device at our door so we know who is there before answering. Prior to this device, out door had no window, no ability to look out to see who is there. This has resolved that issue all together, plus gives us the benefit of speaking to the person at the door. Thank you!

Highly recommend this product for anyone who is looking for home security without braking the bank.

Don't buy this item unless you have a really fast wi-fi network. Taking "5 minutes to install" is a joke. Does not have an on/off switch. The sound is poor at best. The support was great when I gave it a poor rating I got an immediate email from them. The wi-fi booster/Chime Pro is hard to set up and is almost useless.

This works great. Great range of view and very clear. Really like the app where yiu can see whats happening to other Ring users in the area. Battery needs to be charged too frequently.
