The price was something I couldn't pass. I bought it as a Christmas gift for my daughter.

Works well. Good image. Love being able to speak to people at my door even when I’m not home. Also nice to be able to just see who’s there when I don’t want to answer door. Next morning I can watch videos of night before & know when my teenagers arrived home ;)

I installed the Ring by myself. It took about three minutes. it has a very clear picture. I am able to see both my vehicles in the driveway which is what i was hopping for.

Works great. View on iPad is very clear. I get notification on my Apple Watch. I can view my front door from work and can talk to the person there.

It does exactly what it said it would do! We have had issues with people ringing our bell in the middle of the night so we got this for the ability to see exactly who is ringing our bell. Wonderful product and the customer service is exceptional if help is needed setting it up.

Works really well and installation was easy, you have to pay for having recordings after a trial and i wasnt aware of that. otherwise works well and is handy for missed courier deliveries

Great device, and easy to install and connect to our WiFi. Viewing the status of our front entrance remotely is great. We can preview visitors to our home and know who is at the front entrance, even when we are away.

First one I had to order to get antique brass color. Package did not have mounting bracket.Brought back to store - first guy said it did not appear anything missing. Finally talked to another guy who immediately realized something was missing - traded it for another one in the store. Unfortunately only had siliver (which I do not like). Installed per intructions. Not easy if you have brick due to fact that some bricks could not drill deep enough. Thank God I did not opt to connect to my existing door bell. I am sure I would not have been able to drill brick to line up with mounting holes and then I would have had exposed wire. Not easy to attach securely to the bracket. Gives the chimes alert delayed. I get the back of the UPS guy as he is walking away. I called Ring Support and ran speed test. Appears I need a Wi-Fi booster. Obviously they encounter this often since they have info on their website - even recommending 2 brands. I did review prior and saw no mention of this. Also my house faces West and even though I have a covered porch the image is distorted by the sun. I can see clearly on my porch about 5 feet. However, past the porch the sun bleaches out the image completely and it looks like a white out. They should have a filter that can adjust to lighting conditions. Ring Support suggested I remove the ring device and tilt the bracket down. I have tried that and it does not help much at all. My router is only about 10-12 feet from the Ring device. But when doing the speed test it is only half the speed of when I am at my desk with my router. So at this point in time until I spend more $$ to purchase a WiFi booster to see if it increases the speed and I actually get the alert as someone is approaching my door and not their back as they are leaving - I am not very impressed and do not think it is worth the price and would not recommend.

The RING doorbell is an easy to install audio and video device. Even if you are not home you can still respond through your smartphone. My neighborhood group posts all videos to alert all in our neighborhood, the French Quarter, and closely surrounding neighborhoods.

I really like this door bell I can see who’s out side in front of my house and feel safe

This was a 10 minute install. This replaced a non-working conventional doorbell and we love the ease of use and being able to see who is standing on our front porch. Has recently been updated with live-view functionality so it doesn't have to be triggered for us to view anytime.

Nice to know who is at the door. Even if the door bell was not touched.

I like having a camera at my front door. My only complaint is the lag time from movement to alert. Also the video cut off recording someone at my door. I only saw the delivery truck and then it leaving. Not happy about that.

Best doorbell so far and with black Friday pricing made it all worth it

This works well as a doorbell and the intercom and video are good but it has a few issues with it's other features. -The motion sensor has a delay which makes it almost useless (by the time you hear the alert the person at the door has already left. -There is no way to choose a different ring tone or even volume of the tone for either the doorbell or the motion chime. The only to choice you get to make is whether or not you get the alert for each, not what the sound is.

The Ring has great sound quality and picture quality. Connection time is great but depends on your phone connection. Only wished it's interface with alarm was a little more connected rather than just being able to go to your alarm app from Ring's app.

I like it a lot. Although I was told it could be hardwired so it didn't have to be charged. That is not the case. I have to charge it approximately once a month. What a pain. The customer service at ring is very good though

Purchased this on Black Friday for $100. It was a great deal! The install was pretty straight forward; however, the first one had a spinning ring of death. When I rang the doorbell, it would ring the doorbell over and over and the ring would just spin. I returned it after fighting with Best Buy (They didn't want to exchange it on Black Friday initially), but the second one worked great! Ring did me a solid and sent me an extender because my image was a little poor at first, which is surprising because my gateway is only 10' from the doorbell. I put the extender (Which ring sent for free) in the hallway and it improved. Still a little disappointed with the image quality, but it serves its purpose. The $3/month isn't a big deal. It's not perfect, but a great security addition. Naturally, after I bought it, hardly anyone has had to ring my doorbell.
