I received the Ring as a gift from my daughter & son-in law. It was easy to install and so far has been working very well. I wish it was a little faster bringing up images when I review motion alerts and Live viewing.

Having a ring doorbell gives me added comfort. Not only is it great to be able to see who has visited my house while I’m not home, but the ring community is a great way of knowing what’s going on around my neighborhood.

This was a 10 minute install. This replaced a non-working conventional doorbell and we love the ease of use and being able to see who is standing on our front porch. Has recently been updated with live-view functionality so it doesn't have to be triggered for us to view anytime.

Purchased this on Thanksgiving weekend. Walked into Best Buy and saw 2 on the table and picked 1 up. By the time I got to the register started thinking this would make a great gift. Too late!!!! It was already gone. Easy to install. Should be outside every home:)

First one I had to order to get antique brass color. Package did not have mounting bracket.Brought back to store - first guy said it did not appear anything missing. Finally talked to another guy who immediately realized something was missing - traded it for another one in the store. Unfortunately only had siliver (which I do not like). Installed per intructions. Not easy if you have brick due to fact that some bricks could not drill deep enough. Thank God I did not opt to connect to my existing door bell. I am sure I would not have been able to drill brick to line up with mounting holes and then I would have had exposed wire. Not easy to attach securely to the bracket. Gives the chimes alert delayed. I get the back of the UPS guy as he is walking away. I called Ring Support and ran speed test. Appears I need a Wi-Fi booster. Obviously they encounter this often since they have info on their website - even recommending 2 brands. I did review prior and saw no mention of this. Also my house faces West and even though I have a covered porch the image is distorted by the sun. I can see clearly on my porch about 5 feet. However, past the porch the sun bleaches out the image completely and it looks like a white out. They should have a filter that can adjust to lighting conditions. Ring Support suggested I remove the ring device and tilt the bracket down. I have tried that and it does not help much at all. My router is only about 10-12 feet from the Ring device. But when doing the speed test it is only half the speed of when I am at my desk with my router. So at this point in time until I spend more $$ to purchase a WiFi booster to see if it increases the speed and I actually get the alert as someone is approaching my door and not their back as they are leaving - I am not very impressed and do not think it is worth the price and would not recommend.

I have had a few issues with it not picking up motion until after it is too late. It might be too far away from the router. I might be buying a chime pro with WiFi extender to see if that helps. Other than that it is great.

The Ring has great sound quality and picture quality. Connection time is great but depends on your phone connection. Only wished it's interface with alarm was a little more connected rather than just being able to go to your alarm app from Ring's app.

Love the product and very simple to use. Easy installation and works just as described.

This works well as a doorbell and the intercom and video are good but it has a few issues with it's other features. -The motion sensor has a delay which makes it almost useless (by the time you hear the alert the person at the door has already left. -There is no way to choose a different ring tone or even volume of the tone for either the doorbell or the motion chime. The only to choice you get to make is whether or not you get the alert for each, not what the sound is.

I'm very happy with our new Ring Wi-fi smart doorbell. Setup was easy and the phone app and web videos walked me through the whole process. The doorbell gives alerts for motion and when someone rings the bell - and provides communication when you're not at the door.

Love this doorbell. Wish I would of got the 1080 hd version but this gets the job done.

Purchased this on Black Friday for $100. It was a great deal! The install was pretty straight forward; however, the first one had a spinning ring of death. When I rang the doorbell, it would ring the doorbell over and over and the ring would just spin. I returned it after fighting with Best Buy (They didn't want to exchange it on Black Friday initially), but the second one worked great! Ring did me a solid and sent me an extender because my image was a little poor at first, which is surprising because my gateway is only 10' from the doorbell. I put the extender (Which ring sent for free) in the hallway and it improved. Still a little disappointed with the image quality, but it serves its purpose. The $3/month isn't a big deal. It's not perfect, but a great security addition. Naturally, after I bought it, hardly anyone has had to ring my doorbell.

The ring doorbell was the best investment I have made in a long time I feel safe that I can see people on the other side of my door but they cannot see me the ring doorbell is a good investment for anybody's home who need security without monthly fees

Bought this ring since we often travel out of town. It works great! I don’t have any issues with the product itself. I got it at a discounted price and the yearly subscription is offered at a good price. $30 per year.

I bought this for myself. Love the bronze color. It allows me to monitor my front door.

My doorbell faces sideways, but I can still see my entire front porch.

Awesome camera. Would recommend to everyone. This product could help put thieves away.

We were trying to decide if it was going to be an ADT system or a network of our own private security system. Since we've installed the ring system within the rest of the wifi cameras we decided to go with our own private security system. It's easy to install and works as advertised.

At $100 on sale this was a no brainer,,,nice wide camera view with motion notificatons.

Love this doorbell. Feel very safe with it. Very happy to have purchased this doorbell.
