If does a great job at letting us know the sun is shining. On the other hand it works very well for unknown visitors, and quick UPS and FedEx drivers who try to leave before you have a chance to answer the door.

My husband works nights so this is a great tool to use to see who is at our door

We have our Ring bell in the color we want! Now we can easily see who is at the front door from anywhere. We did have some challenge with installation but the customer services was great up to, and including sending someone out for free if it were necessary!

It's a bit harder to install than 5 minutes but great once you get it connected. I am fortunate that mine is "hardwired" which means I just replace the existing doorbell. So I don't think I have to charge the device or go offline. This is pretty cool. I signed up for the video storage service and it works better than the Xfinity home service. The "Neighbors" option is very interesting. Just make sure you install during daylight hours and give yourself at least 20 minutes for buffer. not the 5 minutes you hear advertised. Cordless screwdriver is a good option just as a heads up. Also make sure you give yourself some space above the ring if you are installing on a house that has siding because you need space to take the unit on and off the base.

I love the ring doorbell. I think everyone should get this product for there house.

Bought this as a gift for our son and he loves it. He has complete views all around his home (we bought more of them). You can't beat the safety and security it brings to you and your family.

Super easy to install & step-up! After installing 3 friends got one too. They're nice & convenient. We got the plug in ring "chime" to go with it. The motion chime goes off when the dog is ready to come inside & lets you know when the kids get in from school. Very handy!

It is perfect for viewing who is at your front door especially if you do not have other security cameras or features. Only problem for me is that it is so big that it did not fit well in the space for the doorbell on my front door.

I purchased my ring after having read reviews and after seeing it work at my brothers house, it truly gives you the opportunity to answer your front door from anywhere without the person at your door knowing that you are not there it works well and I am completely satisfied!
