Overall does well but does not always capture movement at the door and at times it catches vehicles driving in the street and alarms. It could be I am not adjusting the range properly. Over all I do like the extra security it affords.

Setup was relatively easy once I read online that you have to turn off data on your iPhone during setup or it won't want to let you connect to the Ring. (You can turn it back on after you're all set up... but I wish the installation instructions had just made a note of this for iPhone users). It works pretty well. One thing I would like to see is control over the frequency of motion alerts. They give you three options: frequent, standard, and light. I'd rather just have an option in terms of minutes, so that I could set it not to start a new event if there's been more in X number of minutes. I've had it on "standard" and so far the battery life has been fine but I've definitely been missing a lot of "motion activity."

This is a great outdoor camera.But I wished that the battery could last longer.

I am overall satisfied with this product although I had to replace the old one...I guess they are better when installed to the existing doorbell and you don't need to charge the battery

very consistent in terms of quality and what it offers. You can see who is at the door when the bell rings as well as have the option to view motion near the camera when visitors choose not to ring the bell.

We hard wired the device in and it has worked great. Good quality on the audio and video. Notifications are nice and the piece of mind is even better. Only suggestion would be a better price on a package deal. You will want more than one

The Ring - Video Doorbell I purchased is excellent. It was very easy for me to set-up and did not need a repairman. I will recommend this Ring Doorbell, especially in this color, to my friend and family.

I like having a doorbell with a camera. I had a handy-man install it and replace my original doorbell. No problems connecting it to power or to my network. But the ring app often does not connect. My signal strength is great (the doorbell is maybe 10 feet from the router), but even then, the app can take forever to try to connect and just fails, so some people leave before I can reply. That defeats the purpose of having this device. I also don't like that they charge for storage, but I knew about that before I purchased.

Easy set up. Multiple attempts to adjust sensitivity however got it just right.

Great device to help protect your home. Many add on devices to expand coverage!

The kit came with everything needed to install, which was nice. The sound when speaking is very choppy, kind of like bad cellular service, and is almost impossible to speak to someone or hear them. There is a trial of recorded video that I did like, but after it ended the price was $3/mo for basic. I didn't sign up so all I can see is live footage, which take time to connect. I find that most people will not touch it, they knock on the door instead. I had to charge the battery 3 times in one month because of the motion sensor going off every 5 minutes.

Ring doorbell can be installed where your current doorbell is and it will feed off the electricity to charge itself. The range is programmable, and so are the notifications. Its simple to install and all u need is the free ring app. Its 24/7 security. I love it.

This has got to be the best purchase I made recently. It does what it says. I can talk to anyone ringing my doorbell or anyone standing close to my door. The motion sensor it a bit sensitive but you can adjust its range so you do not get a lot of alerts for motion.

Got it for my bro and his fam and he loves it! Goes great with his smart home!

We have 2 RING Video Doorbells. One is hardwired and never needs recharging. The other gets charged about once a month depending on activity, LIVE views, and Device Health Checks. A full recharge is very quick within a few hours from 60-ish% battery power. The zone and motion settings are quite helpful to eliminate cars, trucks, and extraneous movement not really of concern at the front door. We have the originals with 720p resolution which work rather well. If you want better viewability and ID recognition bump up the resoltuion. Software and subscription services are very ease to use and can archive all mtions, rings, and Live views for later reference.

Works great, but know that only your phone will ring if someone rings your doorbell. You’ll need a plug in door chime if you want to hear it if you’re away from your phone. It’s $30 or so, and plugs into any outlet.

Love this little device. Easy to install and no more guessing who is at the front door. Low subscription price a year for non-hardwired installation. At work, I know who is at my door. I can talk to that person as if I am home. Highly recommend this to everyone.
