Overall the device gets the job done. You will know when someone comes to your door, but it sometimes is a few seconds behind the actual activity. It goes on sale often and this makes it very affordable.

Definitely love ring camera I dont love that we have to pay a fee for the year to actually be able to use it but its only 30 dllrs a year and its so worth it in this days.

These are amazing. Easy to setup, put anywhere, and watch any time. I have one pointed at my driveway because it was easier than setting up another type. My kids push the button when they wanna tell on their sibling.

It notifies me on a slight delay and the talking feature is great.

This product met my needs for an intercom, with the front door. Internet functions are nice, but a little over-hypted. Since it uses local wire-less to communicate, delay times make communication a little funky. Also cannot be reconnected, while on the road, if the connection is dropped. A cellular approach would be better. Video quality is so so. Nice to see who has been at the door, when you are away. Hard to control sensitivity. Shows every car that drives by, but misses some people walking up.

This is for a Christmas gift but feel it’s a great price for item.

Never have to answer when it’s just someone dropping of a package.

We live in a rural area and I hate to leave my wife at home at night. Now she can see whose at the door before answering. This thing is great. I have been telling others ladies about it especially singles. I should get a commission. Easy to install.

Bought a gift for a mother in law. Worked good at first with a little bit of lag, due to it being being battery powered and slightly underpowered internals. If you have the money, I would instead opt for the ring doorbell pro which requires wiring, but is much faster and more dependable since it doesn’t rely on batteries and also comes with different face plates to match your facade. This one is only a single colored plate so make sure you know which one you are purchasing. Overall it is just ok.

This doorbell is made to force you to buy the subscription. I decided against the subscription because I did not find value in the recording features, I really purchased this replace my traditional doorbell. I have security cameras on my front door that I record to my own server. The functionality is very limited without the subscription. There are better options for security doorbells on the market. Especially ones where you have the option of storing the video on your own hard drives.

Love the Ring. Easy install. Works well with app. Only concern is that it's sometimes delayed in picking up an image. I feel like sometimes it captures someone walking away, but not walking up

I like this product a lot because of the security it provides. Set this product with your existing wires for continued monitoring. The camera works very well and I get notifications on the spot. I wish I would have waited for the second version.
