I bought the Ring Doorbell after visiting family who had one. I fell in love. It's amazing - you can literally have a conversation with whoever is at your door from anywhere you have cellular or wifi signal. Great added security, peace of mind. One caveat - if you live in a cold climate, the battery does NOT hold a charge well. Even hardwired, the trickle charge sometimes doesn't keep it charged enough. To remedy this, all you have to do is press the doorbell button and it resets itself and starts charging. Otherwise - AWESOME!

There is a small delay between when someone rings the bell and you see it. Also, if your phone is on vibrate or mute you will not know of the ring. It's a really interesting idea but I'm not sure how actually useful it is. I did have it wired to the interior bell, otherwise you would not hear a bell ring if you're inside and not by your phone. If you keep your phone volume on and it is always with you then it could be great. I had to answer yes/no on recommendations so it would really depend on how you use your phone.

Installation was easy. I installed it on its own and not with the existing door bell. I this mode, you need to charge it once in a while.

I love how easy it was to I stall and set up on my phone. The video is great, clear and easy to access. I have a problem with the battery needing a charge so often and how long it takes to recharge it. All I all it's a wonderful addition to the security on my house.

I don't know how we lived without this. The video is excellent. Super Easy to Install. Make sure you allow it to charge overnight fully.

Ring Wireless Cameras and Door Bell is the best. I’ve looking for the Ring Cameras and Door Bell. finally, I put my hands on it. I love them and ithey have great Videos at night and day time. I can hear through it speakers and I can talk through it mic. There a lot more in it and to it. It is better if you go to Best Buy’s to see it in person. I will recommend it to anybody. It is worth it the purchased. With this product you Home is safe and security when gone away. Only you need to have WiFi amd you are safe. Thxs

This combo of doorbell and camera is great. Works just as they said and is easy to install. Sound is good and video is very good.

The ring doorbell works as advertised. It was easy to hook up. And I had no problem connecting to my wi-fi. The videos are clear .

Really like this product, install was easy. Video is very clear. Neighbors can send warning of suspicious behavior at their home, for the neighborhood. Gives me a sense of security that the ring is lit up and porch pirates can see, hopefully making them think twice Like the fact I can talk with people at my door even if I am not home

Works well, I get motion alerts when people are outside, which allows me to initiate a call ( talk to them) as well as see them. It also allows me to start a call if someone rings the doorbell. Highly reliable in my experience, good quality video, very happy with this product.

Overall, the doorbell is great. Assembly was simple. I was expecting it to be smaller than it is, it is very large for a doorbell. However, I was very unhappy with the packing when it had arrived. There was no damage to the outer shell, but the actual box itself had a whole side ripped off. I gave this as a Christmas present, and was concerned that it was going to work. If that's how Best Buy ships their products I may purchase elsewhere for additions.

Door bell works very good I had purchased it in 2018 and it is 2023!.

We've been eying this product for quite a while. So many of our neighbors recommended it. It has been a worthwhile investment. Being able to check our porch and front of house not only when someone rings the bell but any time we want, even when we aren't home, is wonderful. It's great that you can not only see but speak as well. The cloud subscription for just the doorbell is an extremely affordable $30/yr and stores your video so it can be reviewed and even shared with neighbors or the police.

Takes some time to get the motion alerts working so that you're not notified by every freakin' street movement. This is part of a system of devices - cameras, too which is good BUT they charge for each device you have separately to preserve recordings. Not good and bad marketing, in my eyes, as it prevents someone from buying more deeply into their devices as each one costs a separate fee. Consequently, I bought the doorbell but won't buy anything else from them. So now ya' k ow ...

Works great and was easy to i install. Gives us peace of mind knowing what goes on at our front door even if we are not home.
