Some reviewers indicated that the motion sensor does not detect until afterwards is correct. Meaning. A person approaching the doorbell does not always trigger an alert, it does as the person is walking away.

I like the Ring Doorbell, however as with all electronics in life it has its flaws. Great idea and features. Obviously it needs an internet connection so if the internet is down the door bell doesnt work. Over all it works very well. I use it like a motion sensor at work to arert me a customer has arrived so I am 100% expcecting accuracy, but who wouldnt with any security device. I have had to do a hard reset once on it and have had to delete the app on my phone and start over a handful of times. Overall i would buy it again

Love this door bell! Its easy to install and take off to charge. I do recommend purchasing a solar charger if you have a lot of traffic around your house.

Very easy to hook and set up. Was up and running in under five minutes. Still messing with the motion settings. Like knowing who is at my door or being able to look and see what is going on

month... however, the item works just fine. Yes, sometimes it tells you there is motion at your front door when there is not but that's really not a big deal since it is accurate more times than not !

My video ring doorbell is great it let me see whoever is at my door and I love the motion it let me know when someone is hanging around outside my door and I can talk to them threw my video doorbell great I love it

LOVE the ability to see who shows up at our door!! Camera and microphone have excellent quality. Feel secure when we can talk to visitors from inside the house (pr far away!)

Love this device. Friend helped me to install but I think I could have done it by myself. The video is clear and depending on your wifi can go in and out when your live. The voice is very clear as well.

We have had the ring for 7 months now. We love it. Its great to see when people and packages arrive. Great piece of mind to be able to keep an eye on deliveries.

great features for the value but amazon expects you to pay for an additional service to record movement plus motion sensor warnings can get annoying quickly
