We made this purchase not knowing how it would connect but it was easy to set up, inexpensive to subscribe to and great to have. You can customize settings which Tailors it to your needs!

I've had this since May and constantly wish I had just bought an outdoor Nest cam instead. Though it is labeled a door bell I bought it primarily to use as an outdoor camera. I pay for the service to record and store a month's worth of motion or rings but I've found it completely useless. There is a short delay between when it senses the motion and when it actually records. I've found recordings of the backs of people as they are walking away from the porch, meaning no recording of their faces or them as they approach. Also, I was recently reviewing footage from an indoor Nest cam that also points out front to see who was responsible for the broken glass at the curb, and the Ring has zero footage of it whereas the Nest cam has several minutes of the truck and person parked at the curb messing with stuff. I've got a whole heap of recordings of cars driving by but when someone actually stops and gets out of their car and I would like to see what happened the Ring somehow just didn't bother recording or storing that. Further, If you set your range too far out and it records useless clips of cars driving down the street, plan on charging the thing at least once a month. It is not a quick charge either, taking several hours before fully charged back up. Basically, if you can hardwire it to an existing bell or buy the chime it does function as a very expensive door bell, but the maintenance is too much and the camera quality too poor for me to ever recommend. Perhaps newer models are better but this one is a dud.

The install is pretty simple they give you 90% of the tools you will need The setup was easy but pairing to internal speaker can be tricky, after a quick call support all was resolved

I love it so much so far. I’ve caught my kids coming and going, packages being delivered unexpectedly and all types of things I didn’t think I was missing. Great purchase and easy install.

Great product nice to talk to people while you're not even home and it helped me already by catching somebody doing something in front of my house they're not supposed to be doing. Fantastic product

The doorbell was easy to install and connect. Comes with everything you need. Good instructions, easy to follow. You will need to pay a subscription if you want to continue getting videos of alarms.

The video doorbell works excellent. The only thing I had to do is use a wedge behind it because one side was right next to the brick wall. ounce I put the wedge in the doorbell worked perfect

Installed this unit for a neighbor. It is easy to Install. Must have WiFi. Very reliable unit that you can add additional units, etc. Only took about 20 minutes to install. Tool included.

We are extremely impressed with this doorbell. It was easy to set up and load the app and personal info. Love it! Love seeing what's going on even when I'm not home.

You don't know how important this product is until you have had someone try to break into your home. This is a fantastic product and, combined with ring outdoor cameras, is a great theft deterrent.

Installs quick and easy, it’s nice not having to walk across the house to look through the peep hole to see who’s at the door or when a package is left.

I figured I would jump in on the video doorbell trend by purchasing this product. Unfortunately I have very skinny trim around my front entry door with brick surrounding it. Because my doorbell is wired through the trim instead of the brick, this doorbell ended up being much too large to fit on the trim so I had to return. Unfortunately the measurements on the box weren't true otherwise I would not have purchased in the first place.

This is my first Ring. I love that I can see what’s going on at my house while I’m away. It’s especially nice when we’re out of town. Definitely a keeper. Installation was a breeze.

Bought this on Black Friday. Great little system so far. My wife feels safer. Sometimes it mistakes loud trucks and the dawn of day for motion, but other than that, great produce?
