Installation: very easy. I had to mount mine to a brick wall. This came with a masonry bit to drill the holes and attach the plate. It was very straight forward. I disconnected my two wires from the old doorbell and connected them to my Ring without any issues. Use: Hit or miss. There is a very noticeable delay from the time the doorbell is rang and the time that I'm notified. There is also a delay in answering the ring as well. It takes a while to initiate the "talk." Most of the time the person has already rang two or three times before I'm even able to talk with them. Camera resolution could be better. I do like the fisheye lens though. The field of vision is good. Overall: It's a great concept, it just doesn't work 100% of the time. It was good having color choices (I got bronze). It's still an upgrade to the old fashioned doorbell and yes, the ring from the doorbell still works in case you're wondering. I didn't pay the $30 for cloud storage, but maybe that's why I have a lag?

Ring door bell let me know if anyone is at my house or even in the street. I installed it myself, first time in my life, that means installation is easy and support service is excellent.

We love our ring!! It’s great to be able to go back and check videos! I can look at who is at the door without having to answer it if I didn’t want too! Worth the money!

Bought this and another ring camera. We pay for the yearly service to store our files. Would highly recommend it great good quality camera too.

Looks good, easy to install, easy to monitor. You just need to pay $3/mo to access the video. The forever fee is irksome but everything works

Super easy to install and a great security feature. We are rural and it is great knowing who is at the front door even if I am in the back yard.

The Ring video door bell and app are great for front door security. It alerts me by my phone of who is at my door. I can view in live time and hear and talk to the person. Love it!

Love the Ring. Easy to install and instantly able to monitor what is going on when away. Love the ability to communicate when away.

This product is a great piece to start with to get into the connected home space. The battery can get a bit weird in the winter but otherwise great!

We love our Ring system, only down fall is the late pick up of movement. It was show up after the person has already left.

You need to buy the actual ringer if you don't have a bell that you are replacing. Take a little while for your phone to ring so people may have already left

I had no doorbell so no wiring for one. This was a nice choice to add a doorbell plus the benefit of seeing who comes to my door. Provides video of all that pass the door and allows audio

The Ring helped our family see who is coming to our mom's house. Video is clear and audio is fantastic - chatting with visitors is like talking in person. Our family is happy with purchase/

Very easy to install and wire yourself. I have a ring chime paired with it and love the combo. Video features work well but I'm just in the free preview. Not sure about long term cost.

Was looking for a camera to have near the front door. Ended up getting the Ring Doorbell and it works great. Easy to install and the app installed on all of the families phones and tablets.
