The ring works great. Easy to use. The picture is ok, obviously better on the newer models. But on a budget this is nice. App alerts you when movement is near.

Feel a lot safer with this ring doorbell installed. The camera looks great and the neighborhood option is a really nice feature

Upgrade from the original model. 1080p signal, very easy to install, will replace right over the previous one, quicker response time. Ring support is very good.

This product is a really good addition to a security plan. We really like the ability to interact with the person at the door. However, the buyer needs to be aware that if you don't have the device hard wired, you don't get all the functionality. Also, we have a pretty sophisticated firewall, and even with my husband's top level IT security profession, it took him hours to get the device working through the firewall properly. In fact, he may have literally helped the company rewrite their guide on set up. Overall, this is a really cool item, just be well informed before you purchase.

I loved this one. I upgraded to the Ring 2 because it went on sale. I love being able to see who is at my front door from anywhere.

I got the ring for my 85 year old mother. It's an extra eye for me. I know when she leaves the house and who comes to her door. Just a little extra security.

Economic option for having a wifi video doorbell even if you dont have am existing doorbell. The 720p image looks good and the 2 way audio works great.

Got it for $67.00 at best buy with price match and rewards points. Works excellent and I can now see what's going on outside and Feel more secure

good camera, is your Hardwiring it to where an existing door bell is, this is a great option. Don’t need to pay for the extra higher model if hardwired.

I love being notified when people are around my house and at my door. The motion setting is very sensitive as far as traffic going down the road, especially in big trucks.

Works great. Only downside is that you need WiFi (we just paused out WiFi while my husband is deployed). Works great though and gives me added security!

What a SCAM! This camera is a waste of money and I recommend that you DO NOT BUY this product or any of RING's products. Here is why: 1) the camera is bad quality for the price 2) you have to pay a monthly subscription to get any amount of recording 3) the camera is slow to detect motion so most of the time the people are gone by the time the camera realizes it. And yes, I have it on the highest sensitivity. It picks up cars from 60ft away but not people from 2ft. 4) live view takes forever to load. So, even if you happen to catch the notification, it takes another 15 seconds for the app to initialize the camera. Don't waste your money. I regret purchasing this camera and that I gave this company a monthly subscription fee.

We are SO HAPPY with our RING doorbell!!!! We can now leave home & never have to wonder who's visiting our home while we're away. EVERYTIME I get an alert, I just open it up on my phone & know exactly who's there. From pizza delivery to salesmen to postal deliveries, etc. it gives us peace of mind when the kids are home alone. The only problem we have is the lighting. Because it's mounted on a covered porch, the sunshine creates a bright background & you can't distinguish what's happening until they get closer to the door. But everything else is wonderful. They are working on the problem though!!!
