battery stays charger for quite a while with how much activity there is on my street. video and sound is nice and clear.

Sometimes when I am at work and there is motion I tap the notification to see the activity but all I see is a black screen. Otherwise, this is a great product.

I love the Ring Video Doorbell. It was super easy to install and set up. Love being able to monitor whose at my door.

Overall we're very pleased with the product. Installation was easy, you can see and answer to whomever rings your doorbell via your iPhone and it also alerts you if there's motion near your home. I do think the motion detection is a bit sensitive and sometimes it doesn't pick up everything. Additionally, there are delays at times when trying to "answer" a doorbell ring or connect to live view. Otherwise, it's a great product for the price and hoping that updates will fix these small flaws.

I expected more from this doorbell. I didn't know you had to pay for a subscription to record or for neighborhood alerts. Also prepare to connect it through wires because the battery life sucks and if there is a automatic alert regarding the battery life, I haven't found it. Love being able to answer the door and talk to visitor while I'm not home.

Camera works great. You do get a free trial and then have to purchase the video playbacks after the trial expires.

Easy to install, but the app wasn't easy to navigate. Some setting menus were hard to find.

Bought this for security reasons could not be more happier easy to put in is it to get the apps I highly recommend using it

I love the idea of the Ring doorbell. It worked wonderfully whenever someone rang the doorbell BUT as far as motion detection went that's a different story. I spent 29 days adjusting the motion settings to try to get the perfect settings programmed and just couldn't do it. It would pick up cars driving by (but showed nothing because once the camera actually started up the car was long gone) but wouldn't show me doing yard work right in front of it. When it did decide to detect me, I was already in the house closing the front door. So I'd adjust the settings to about 25' so it wouldn't pick up cars and it still would only pick up the tail end of the action which in most cases is not the important part that needs to be recorded. It is very unreliable! I would test the camera and walking around as if I were someone messing with my property and if it did detect me, it would record only 40 seconds and not detect further motion beyond that 40 seconds. Again, I love the idea of Ring but it needs some serious work. An unreliable "security doorbell" is just an expensive doorbell.

I’m not impressed with this doorbell at all. The picture quality is sub par for the price. You have to pay for the doorbell recording after your free trial.
