It should come with a wedge since most doorbells are mounted near the edge of a structure near the door. Only real drawback is that many times there is a long delay connecting to my phone. I am on a fast cable system so that isn't the problem. Not quite sure what the problem is. Sometimes Fedex or UPS is gone by the time the alert comes to my phone.
