The Ring doorbell is great to use to see who is at the door and be able to talk to the person at the door using your smartphone. For the video option to see who is at the door and be able to look back on the video history, you have to pay a $30 yearly fee to Ring after the 30-day trial. The battery life on the battery in the doorbell lasts 2-3 months on a single charge, which is great.

The Ring allows me to view people prior to them ringing the front door bell. I can set the sensitivity range to expand up yo 30 feet in 180 degrees. Camera video is excellent. I am able to access from my iPad PC and iPad. Only requirement on smart devices is a 8.0 iOS or greater. iPhone 4 will not work. Also lower version android will not work with RING app. Check app in App Store for requirements

I recommend this product to anyone that would like a camera/doorbell. Easy to install, HD Quality and helps with security.

Purchased as a gift for my mother. Have not used yet. Simple but exactly what she is wanting.

Bought 2. Pretty easy to use. Occasionally have trouble with the app.

love this. I thought it was pretty expensive, but I live alone and my front door is beveled glass. You can't really see in clearly, but I don't like being able to be seen at all. This way I can stay in my family room and see who is and has been at my door. I like that the angles are adjustable and the sensitivity is adjustable. My mailman and usual UPS guy know it's there and they always wave at the camera. :-) I truly do feel safer and more secure. Despite the cost, I'm glad I bought it.

We got this for my mother. It installed easily. She loves it and the app on IOS is easy for her to use.

While the doorbell works fine, the motion sensor is too laggy to be useful. I see the back of the UPS man after he walks 20 feet up to the porch and drops off the package. It does not sense him approaching the door in time to switch on the camera. Ring is working with me to correct this but since another friend has the same issue; I think it earns an average rating only.
