Oddly I cannot get this to msg my phone and advise me, when it records movement. I have to go to the app, review dozens of entries/exits to be sure nothing unusual is taking place. Could be I'm not fully understand that option. Nicely built product though

The picture and video is quite clear but sometimes misses whoever set off the motion detector. The motion dection settings are easy but numerous adjustments are necessary. The mail comes to the door every day but the video has only seen him a couple of times. There needs to be some updates to these as usual with a relatively new gadget. A lot of false detection even when set at close range. You also have to pay for video after 30 days. Would recommend this if this worked as advertised.

We have had this Ring Doorbell since 2015 and it has been a lifesaver! Not only can we view who is coming and going, but we can answer the doorbell from our phone remotely. The only complaint I have is that the doorbell gets triggered easily by sunlight. All in all a great product! Money well spent!

The ring was a purchase that my brother made and enjoyed it.. So I thought I would try it..Was very easy with the instructional videos to set up . I did have an issue with my front door it's Metal and the WiFi would not penetrate the front door .Had to purchase a WiFi extender .Then it worked fine.

Very easy to install, alerts are prompt, video is clear

Made well, not cheap looking. Works as described and the settings are extremely flexible so you can limit how many alerts the bell picks up. Setting up using the battery was relatively easy, but setting up with a powered door bell wire seems like it may be a bit tricky but not sure.

I wanted to know who was coming to my door even if I was not home. Easy to install and set up. Definitely has some false positives when large trucks pass the front of the house. I've tried to adjust it through the software, but unable to get it that precise. Overall, very happy with the product.

The battery installation was just a snap. I, however, plan to do a wired installation soon. In the phase of getting used to this currently. The sensor and camera are so powerful that I get an alert even when the person at door was 15 feet away(The sensitivity can be changed in settings). I fully recommend this to any household.

Overall a great product, takes a bit of tweaking to get the angle right on our front patio and is sensitive to pick up motion from 30 feet away.

I'd give 5 Stars, but it's hard to install, the screws are too little & strip when drilling them into the bracket, the battery-life is short lived even when it is not used much & the motion detector is 'off', and you need to buy a $3/month (minimum) Ring plan to keep & view your videos. I do like the convenience of seeing who is at the front door when they ring the bell and being able to talk with them before opening the door. And, if I'm not at home, I can see who visited my home.

Great picture and super easy to set up app & install!

It’s a good camera. Works most of time. Problem I had with it is that it is hooked to hard wired and it showed it on hard wire. Within two days it quit showing hardwired and was going off it’s battery. The battery said it would last 6-12 months. It was down to 50% within a week. Disappointing!

Easy to install and set up, but infrared picks up every passing car on street 40 feet away, even when set at least sensitive setting. Also, viewed videos cannot be deleted from android devices, only I phones or ipads. Doorbell is overpriced compared to other models, but it works pretty well. Wait for price reductions

We had an old-school intercom type doorbell that never worked when we bought the house. Trying to find something that would cover up the spot of the old intercom box was very hard, but this fits the bill perfectly. Set up is SUPER EASY and took less than 10 minutes. We bought the door chime, too, and that was also very easy to attach. Highly recommend.

I just moved and my new townhome does not have a doorbell. I was able to easily attach this product to the wall next to the door and now I am able to see if anyone has come to my home. The motion sensor needs to be adjusted right depending on where your front door is facing, but other then that this products works perfectly.

Easy setup and instalation- clear video- no problems

This ring door bell is really worth the money spent for it. I like the fact that if I'm away from home I can see who is at my front door and I have the ability to speak with them as well. I also like that I can see when my packages are delivered to my house as well and unwanted solicitors that knock on my door. GREAT CAMERA!

This is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time..........I sometimes feel uneasy with all that goes on in this today world, but the Ring has made me feel so much more comfortable at home. I like that I get a notice when I am away from my house.........it lets me know who might walk into my yard. Again, love it.

I am a 70 year old women and was able to Install the video ring doorbell by myself. Set up on my phone was easy too. The only problem I had was the wifi signal dropping off as I live in a stucco house. I talked with customer service and they kindly sent me a signal extender. Works perfectly.
