Super easy install and setup. Came will all the tools and screws needed. I hardwired it to my existing doorbell. Camera is clear and night vision is good too. I’ve been using it for about 6 months now and it has worked great! Would definitely recommend to others for more piece of mind when you are home or away.

This was installed in an old house. We didn’t know the transformer wasn’t strong enough so we had to upgrade it before it would work. Also because the existing doorbell is in an alcove adjacent to the door, we had to purchase a wedge to angle the Ring so it captures people walking up and not just the side of their face. All things to think about before installing. Also there are newer versions that are supposed to have a better quality video. But this one works well for our intended purpose. It was an easy DIY (including upgrading the transformer) if you’re handy.

This Ring is awesome. I’m really happy I got this during this season when I get lots of packages delivered to my home. The reason I didn’t give all five stars is because there’s a downside to having to charge the battery. I don’t have a hard wire setup so I had to go wireless.

I purchased this for two reasons, 1. for the standard video doorbell, 2. for the motion sensing. As a doorbell this works great and the video is quick in the app. No real complaints with the doorbell part. Installation was easy, I used my existing doorbell wiring and the existing doorbell chime, plus I added the wireless ring chime which is a must. The Ring chime is small and has a lot of sounds the play with. Motion sensing (to catch someone sneaking up on your door) is iffy at best. We get a lot of false alarms no matter how we adjust the settings. Believe me I have watch how-to videos and have messed with this thing a lot and I still can't get it to work well. So I get a lot of false alarms and crazy enough I get a lot of misses. Example, I'll catch a car driving down the street but miss the pizza delivery man. or I'll catch the wind chimes blowing in the wind but the miss the Door Dash guy dropping off the food on my porch. And they all have to pass right in front of the camera. I catch more false alarms than people walking up to my door. Also, on motion sensing, when the door bell does catch motion the video starts off black and fades into regular color. It's like it has to warm up or something. The problem is that you miss the first part of someone walking up to your door. Two way talk works great also but when I installed the doorbell it took something like 2 hours for the devise to sync up with the app, so be aware that there is a log on the initial setup. The camera is wide angle and I mean wide. Video quality is great. Would I buy this again? yes but I wouldn't get it for the motion. For motion I would probably go with one of their security cameras instead. Note: my doorbell does not point towards the street, it points to the side.

Didn't know I whether I should get ring or sky bell. Got ring because of reviews. It works good it needs to be close to wifi so that picture is clear. Wasn't hard to install had to call customer service to make sure my electric doorbell would work. Overall I'm happy with my purchase. Already recommend this to my friends and family.

This is nice to see who is at the door, but sensitivity seems to be an issue, seems like we can't get it set low enough so it doesn't pick up cars on the street, also records when folks are walking away from the door like the UPS guy.

The set up is really easy and the picture of the porch is great both in the day and at night. Only problem is that when doorbell rings or motion goes off takes a minute or two to connect and by then person is gone. Have yet to use talk feature. But for $99 was well worth it

I have been wanting a camera for the front porch but didn't want one battery operated and didn't have outlets available. This unit was easy to install and draws power from the existing doorbell wiring. The two way communication from anywhere using your cell phone is great.

It took me less than 10 mins to install and hook up to WiFi. Very clear picture and connects to social communities and local police for added security.

Was a Christmas present for the family. It now allows us to see who’s at our door as well as when deliveries are made. We can also get notifications via our phones as well which is helpful - especially when not home for a period of time Install was easy, just make sure it’s fully charged before installing or it won’t connect very well to your home internet. Also, you may want to take a little time to figure out where you want to mount it as most older homes (including ours) do not have wide areas where the current doorbell is located

This product works almost flawlessly. I enjoy being able to view and speak to visitors even if I'm away from home on a different network. The motion feature also works very well, besides the fact that the sun rises directly in front of mine and triggers the sensor, so keep that in mind when installing.

Love the added security my door bell gives me. Was extremely easy to install. Only problem I have so far is I have to charge more often than I thought. Worth the price.

I was looking into one of these for the longest time, and when I saw the price tag for black friday, I had to jump on it, features are great, motion detector is a must for home security, overall great product super easy installation and use, would definitely recommend this to all my friends and family.

Got this on sale for $100. Easy to install on my existing doorbell wirings and configure to connect to my wifi .Installation instructions are spot on. Alerts me via Ring App when motion is detected. App UI is ok, but not great. Live viewing sometimes does not work. For the price I paid, it is worth it.

Easy Install, excellent customer service, fair video quality but for $99 it's well worth the price I paid for it.

My 73 year old father set this up after I gave it to him for Christmas. Other than some help with getting the app on his iPhone, he was able to get it all figured out and operational. Video is clear and the app seems to work very well to show who is at the door and allow communication back and forth.

It just works. Installs easily with install kit. Configuration is a snap. Took one star away because the glare from the sun is very strong and there is no real way to adjust camera to compensate. Image is washed out until the angle of the sun changes throughout the day.

The Ring Doorbell is an awesome addition to the security of my home and I was shocked on how easy it was to install (I hardwired mine) replacing the existing old battered doorbell. The setup was a piece of cake and connect to my internet with no problems first try. Downloading the app and creating an account was straight forward and we got the extra live view video now where it is stored for later review. The picture quality is excellent for 720p and can be zoomed in and moved around. I recommend this to anyone wanting to add security to their home and know who is at your front door.

I purchased two of the Ring Doorbells without the chime. Syncing with my wifi was simple. Physical installation was easy and uncomplicated. I used my girl power, read the instructions and installed the product with minimal complication. This product requires reading instructions. I waited 30 days to give my review because I wanted time to fairly evaluate thus product. I will pay the $30/ year x2 for each Ring installed to continue video recording. It's great for screening people who ignore common courtesy and refuse to call before 'dropping by' without an invitation.
