Nice to have especially, when it comes to having security, for your house. So far the wfi, works great to let you ansewer, to whom ever is at the door. Video is great to monitor what going on outside your door.

great product, This is great! I love the fact that you can see who is at your door before answering it. I work from home and as a woman don't want to answer to every person who comes to the door. You can also see when packages are delivered or ask the delivery person to leave it at another door.

Love the product. Would have appreciated in store help in making a choice on Nest vs Ring and alternative products. Would have saved me time in the long run.

I live in a secured apartment building, in a great area and usually feel safe. But, when a lot of repairs were being done in my unit and something came up missing, I bought the ring. My friend has one and loves it, I actually set hers up! Now, I can see who is walking by my apartment, speak to delivery people and most importantly see who is coming and going out of my apartment when I give permission to enter. I feel much safer and love being part of the "neighborhood" a community of ring owners that keep each other in the loop! It is am amazing purchase. So easy to install...peace of mind is priceless!

The Ring doorbell works well. The level to mount it straight didn’t fit properly so I didn’t install it as accurately as my eyes indicated. Our home WiFi works well, as far as we can tell from everything else we connectvto it. I decided to get the Ring Chimes to connect to our WiFi for both levels of our home, but it consistently said it has a poor WiFi connection for the ground floor unit. I tried the corrections that Ring has on their computerized instructions to no avail. Finally, I spent another $50 and bought a Chime Pro unit which extends WiFi. That connected well with the doorbell, but wouldn’t Connect with the upstairs Chime unit, despite several tries so I had to connect that one through my WiFi directly (which is where it had already been connected before I started the Chime Pro connection process. Ring still has some work to do to make their products seamless, as they should already be.

It does what it's supposed to do. Its records sound and video at a pretty decent quality. It's great to see when I get things delivered or someone I dont know rings the bell. The battery life is ok but with a busy area and live view it tends to drain faster. On think I major thing in have issue with is, it tends to lag. Also when it records motion it's very delayed, you'd think with live view on it would save a couple seconds before the alert.

The Ring Doorbell has exceeded my expectations. I get a lot of home deliveries and this is a great way to monitor when my packages arrive. It scares off solicitors that notice the camera at the door too.

Overall it's a good device. Could use more sensitivity options for motion alarms. Would also be nice to be able to save video files to my own high capacity hard drive rather than paying $3/mo. to store on Ring's Cloud Service. Apparently this is not yet an option.

Setup is fairly easy and the camera works well. The audio could be better. The downside is you have to remove the ring doorbell to charge the battery and it takes 5 to 10 hours to charge. Signing up is optional but if you don't, you cannot record, but it's only $30 a year so not too bad. As we can't see the front gate without stepping outside this works great. Looked around and this was the best on the market so far.

Overall this is good product. Setup and installation were fairly straight forward. App is easy to use, but could use a little more polish. The motion sensing tech is amazing. Being able to disable zones is great. I have trouble connecting to answer rings when I'm out on a mobile network or a wireless network with low bandwidth. My biggest negative is being forced to sign up for the subscription for cloud storage. It's only 3 dollars a month, but not being able to watch video from events that happened that day is a little absurd. Like I said, its a good product and I'm happy with the purchase overall.

I had to replace my builder grade, basic doorbell, due to age and weathering. SO, I decided to add a little security to my house as well. It was very easy to install, and just as easy to connect to my Android phone. Love this new doorbell... buying more for Christmas presents for my family!!!

This is a great product. I can see what’s going on at my house and I don’t even have to be there. I love the app on your phone. My only issue is that the motion is very sensitive so if the window blows it tells me. It could just be how our house is set up, but that part is a little annoying.

The ring doorbell was very good and easy to install On another matter, however, I purchased Turbo Tax today and requested to apply my $5 reward certificate, but the clerk told me that there is no award. So I bought the product anyway even though she was unable to utilize my reward.

The camera is clear but by the time it is set off by motion the recording is delayed by several seconds so you usually see the back side of the person walking away. Also the sound detector is super sensitive so loud cars or trucks set it off going past the house. The signal to the cell phone flashes so fast I usually miss it. It doesn't signal every time either.

Purchased when BB had on sale. Had to return due to first item but customer service was excellent. After the return the ring doorbell worked as advertised. Highly recommend for the price. Would have given 5 Stars if I didn’t have to return the first purchase.

Wired installation (power and existing doorbell). Works well.. unless fully charged tho, does no ring internal doorbell (or light "ring" on button). Good customer service tho.... sharp picture.. remote mortification also works well, Great unit for the price

Easy to install but caulk listed as supplied not included. When doorbell rings, there is a delay before your smart device responds, even when on the same network. Audio not always clear. Every motion and ring is time-date stamped which is great, but each one must be deleted separately. Cannot figure out how to delete multiples. Great record of who visits or leaves packages. One shipper claimed delivery to door but record showed no deliveries that day. Great tool for contacting vendors about delivery status. Also believe it is a deterrent for miscreants. Somewhat of a "fisheye" video. Because you cannot easily choose the location, entrances facing due east or west may not show faces for early or late visitors. Would still buy again just for the record and surveillance. Just wish I could turn it on to see what is happening. Video only one for motion or ring. No option found for real-time monitoring. Will probably get another camera for that purpose.

It’s fairly easy to install and once installed it’s also fairly simple to set up. I did have a problem syncing it with an android phone ( the screen seemed to split in two, making it nearly impossible to read) but when I synced it to an iPhone it worked immediately and without a hitch

This door bell is the best. I have vinyl siding and it was very easy to install. It took me all but 10 minutes once I charged the door bell. I highly recommend this product. You even get alerts in your local neighborhood of suspicious activity from others who have the Ring door bell.

Works great and not hard to install. Be aware that this model doesn’t have the detachable battery pack. Nice to have if you don’t have a clear view of who is knocking at your door or when you want to know when packages are delivered so you can take them inside before they are stolen.
