Purchase this item as a Black Friday special. Fantastic price on a fantastic item. This device is 720p. The next model up is 1080p. I was able to use the motion sensor to trigger lights that are synced with my Samsung Smartthings hub.

I'm enjoying the new great looking doorbell and viewing those at the door. It was very easy to install and works great! The motion sensor is handy too, but I've already needed to set timers for when I don't want to receive notification.

A friend showed me information about Ring. I absolutely would recommend it. It was easy to install. I love the fact that I can monitor my door and front while I am away. We did have it wired to the house so that I did not have to replace the batteries. A cleaver idea with great benefits.

Easy to use to work well you can use either a battery or get it plugged in to the house for electricity works well at night nice to know when your packages arrive because it alerts you when someone’s at the door over all of the product

I enjoy the settings on my ring and the camera. Unfortunately there are times the ring doesn’t pick up motion at my front door. For example, I left a desk outside my door to take to the garbage and I noticed my neighbor looking at it, I watched her through my camera, however the next morning I left my apartment and the desk was gone but I wasn’t notified on my ring app of the motion. Overall I enjoy the app access when I’m away from home and I’ve paired it with my amazon echo device.

Ever wonder if the boogie man is watching you through the door window - well not any more. This thing catches infra-red heat and it does it very quickly - instantaneous. Funny story - the first person to ring my actual door bell was a guy from a notorious group of door ringers. He was shocked to hear me and I actually took great pains to keep him 'on-line' for a long time just talking through the doorbell. He was sweating to get away - HA!

Before the a Ring, you would always wonder who was at the door or be curious if your package was delivered. Wonder or be curious no more. This was easy to install and love the ease of use. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a video door bell

Works if the person rings the bell and waits around a bit. There can be a bit of lag. The motion activated feature does work and does record people approaching the door without the need for them to ring the doorbell. Very easy to install and easy to use.

this was a why not try and buy purchase after some one at night came and rang my doorbell ,,,,it is easy setup easy connect to your own system for self charging,,,and works great,,,price is a little high,,,,,setup, working regularly without problems for several months makes it a plus

I give this product a 4 only because it works most of the time, but sometimes goes offline unexpectedly, which is frustrating. Also, you really do need the monthly fee to get the most out of it, especially when it goes offline and you miss a notification and it wasn't recorded, so you can see who WAS at your door, after the fact. Love not changing batteries with hardwire. It was super easy to hardwire to existing doorbell wires. It doesn't matter the way the wires go.

This is a great product for security and for easy use. It is very easy to install. It comes with all the tools needed. It does take awhile to charge as the battery is robust but at the same time the charge is going to last for months if not more. Setup on your wireless is quick and the picture is clear and crisp. The sound when speaking is clear. I can now see when packages are delivered and have a constant security presence. The battery is very strong and from use so far should last me for 6 months as stated if not more. For the price this product delivers excellent results. I will be getting another for the back door as well.

got the doorbell ring on a pre-black Friday special and SO glad I did I love it !! and my husband installed it in just 5-10 minutes so happy I'm able to see who is at my door and I'm able to see if anyone walks up to my house even if they DONT ring the door bell

The Ring doorbell is easy to install, and works well with the app on a smartphone. Overall image quality is good and false motion sense is not a problem in my installation location. I recommend this product, it is a great addition to the home and quite useful.

Love this item! Motion field can be adjusted as needed. Sends alert quickly and allows you to speak to whom ever is at the door in real time. Love the live view option also. Easy install. Recommended highly to some co workers. 2 purchased it and also love it.

I don't think installation could be any easier! I did have to purchase the WIFI booster because the signal was too weak from the rear of the house to the front door. I was getting signal drop-outs until the booster was installed. This is a really neat gadget!

I am a tech guy and the price made go for this doorbell. I'd tried several times, but could not make it sync with my wife's phone. On top, it was big compared with my older doorbell

The doorbell was very quick and easy to configure and to attach to the doorframe (we do not have ours hardwired). The doorbell is still useful without the recording service, and the cloud recording is not terribly expensive ($30/yr), but I wish there was an option to store video locally. I will most likely switch to any competing product that does allow for it. The only other issue I have is that, even on the lowest sensitivity setting, I get false positive motion alarms from cars driving by. This will not be an issue for anyone not living in town.

I installed it myself, in minutes. I installed the software on cell phones and tablets. I only had to adjust the sensitivity on motion detection.

Highly recommend for beginners and anyone interested in getting into home security/montoring on a budget. Easy instructions included, but recommend watching a YouTube video on how to get started. Great to keep an eye on your home when your away. Good luck!

Pretty neat and good to have to see who is at your door. Wish it was more consistent in picking up motion without ringing the doorbell. Sometimes picks up motion on road and sometimes it doesnt even pick up motion 10 ft from it.
