It makes it easy to see whose outside while I’m away at work and whose coming into my apartment as I’ve had experiences with management entering my apt while I’m away to fix issues (I’d much rather them come when I’m home, but that never seems to be the case).

It is worth the extra time. Even if you do not have an existing doorbell to get power, you can use just about any 25V or lower (AC or DC) wall wart. I was able to stuff mine in the light switch box (after removing the case).

It is great but it might have some lag at times. You can choose the perimeter you want to monitor and if you ever feel unsafe opening your door you can answer the door from the comfort of your couch,

Compared to my coworkers who has the generation 2, well this one is blah! Mine has a narrow view like looking through a doors peep hole. My coworkers is like looking out the door. His view is beautiful compared to mine. Im taking mine back and getting the Ring2.

Love that I can speak to people at my door without having to be home. Had to buy a wifi extender to make sure I had a very good signal, but that's just based on where my router is. I've been using it for about 5 weeks now and have no complaints. Signed up for 1 year of recording for the $30.
