install was easy and everything is working great..

I purchased this because I received packages often and the delivery people rarely bother ringing the doorbell or knocking. Usually they just drop and go. Very annoying to not know when a package arrives. With the Ring Doorbell I get notifications on my phone for motion detected, so whether or not I am home I know when someone comes near my door.

Bought for my in-laws and they love it. very easy to set up and use.

These work well when you can get them working. There appears to be an issue with mismatching shipments where the backplate will have 3 rows of contacts while the doorbell only has 2. In my experience this is a problem if you have it attached to a real door bell chime in your house because it will make your doorbell ring nonstop.

battery last about a week before having to recharge has trouble retrieving videos from the cloud

This a great basic security system and the first few months were great but I wish I would have known that you have to subscribe to a payment plan so that it can keep recording. The most basic plan is $3 so it’s not gonna break the bank but it’s still disappointing that I didn’t know about that.

Helpful nice camera doorbell price is no more high

I bought this ring door bell just for the sole purpose to know who was at the door. the convenience of knowing who was at my door while I was sitting on my couch was well worth the price. the clarity of the camera is good too

The actual product is great, though I don't yet know how to extend the timeline for accessing your phone to see who is at the door. Also, the manufactures scam of requiring you to pay to see your doorbell occurrences is a little offsetting. I mean, after you have paid all this money for the unit, what are you going to do???

Look I've seen some posts about delay and was worried, but I don't have a problem with that at all. No matter where I am whether it be at home or work. I'm getting that notification from the app within 3-4 seconds. I run a 50 MBS internet speed at my house by att. And I have an iPhone from Verizon with Unlimited internet. The camera is crystal clear
