Being a single mom it's a bit scary when you're all alone and somebody rings the doorbell and you're busy with the ring doorbell it's so easy to see who's outside and if you really want to answer the door. Plus having that motion sensor it gives me an opportunity to see who is around and if I see anything suspicious I can call the policy ASAP!!

I bought this and it provides peace of mind. It catches a lot of footage. One issue I have is the light on the ring can get bright when it catches movement. It has a bright circular light and it blinks a blue light so someone knows they’re being filmed I’m guessing. Otherwise great device.

It gets the job done bought it when it was on sale

I get to receive all of my visitors. Some of the elderly love it since they dont use cell phones it would of taken them a while to get ahold of me. Now I am able to speak to them and set up a meeting with the that same day. It does have its down fall when it picks up the traffic and not someone just knocking on my door.

I believe my Wi-Fi is the issue. Don't always receive motion notifications

The Ring doorbell is great and does everything I need.

It does deliver what I expected. Long life battery (out of town for a month and still was able to connect overseas). Downside is the cloud offering, as usual. Amazon teases You with the recording but when you’re out of the free period you miss it.

This product is great. Its easy to use and notifies quickly.

This is the 720p version. I have ring cameras around my house that are 1080 and the clarity is much better. It does give you a usable image but if you prefer more detail in your captures - get the newer model

$200 for security comfort at the door. Well worth the money.

Must be installed in every house. Easy to install, and operate.

Easy connection, nice wide view, very clear. Would have given 5 if not for the no recording. Only way to get recorded video is to subscribe to their monitor service. Outside of that great product, the neighborhood alerts are pretty sweet. I would go 4.5 stars if it let me.

Not a good product. Slow response so it usually only shows people walking away from my door. Battery dies quickly. I expected more for the price.

Allows me to see who passes by my home. The play backs are very nice because often times as you are notified that someone is at your door by the time you get into app they have already left, unless they are ringing doorbell and waiting on you to answer.

We are still having a small installation issue regarding the bell sound in the house that we are working on. However! The customer service at Ring is outstanding and will come out to our home for free if we can't fix it. They have been wonderful on the phone and the app with the bell works very well!
