I bought the ring to make sure nothing goes wrong while away from my house. Came to found out a person was check out our mail box. I am glad that I bought the ring. But I have issues with the clearly of the picture on this ring.

If you are looking for a cheaper way to get into smart home world, you can't go wrong with this one. It works well, but I also have the Ring Pro, and I can say there's a big difference in the video quality. If that's worth another $150 to you is your decision! Overall still good!

Got a really good deal on black Friday (1\2 off) so it's not terrible I was just expecting better quality video after seeing add for the doorbell, the iris control is very sluggish, so the beginning of most videos are either too dark, or too light, other than that we are happy with the purchase

The first one worked great until we had to charge the battery, could never get it to work again, on our second one and the verdict is still out. Not performing as I would like as of yet. I have 2 more weeks and if it doesnt get better I am taking it back.

The only problem we discovered was we should have bought one earlier. The whole neighborhood is informed on everything that happens. LPD have made several arrests due to surveillance. These idiots look right at the door bell almost every time. I would recommend this product to everybody.

Disappointed that after talking my sister and bf to go to best buy instead of Amazon. I ordered my second ring I had to wait 2 weeks my sisterordered one the week after I did but she rec. a free dot. Ive tried to contact them but no one answers

Affordable doorbell camera works with WiFi and detects Motion. The app has to be installed For you to see and get alerts. There are times that the motion isn’t picked up. This is a great beginner camera.

Good at detecting people at door. Only problem I have is that Ring picks up traffic in the street 50 feet away(especially if a truck goes by). Tried making Ring adjustment to field of view. Maybe need to mount it with a angle bracket so it does not detect traffic on the road.

The product has worked great from Day 1. I installed it using my old doorbell's power wires (which, I think is the best way to do it). I like the ability to not only see, but speak to the person(s) at the door and view whomever approaches the door via it's monitoring features.
