works good but you need to pay for recorded back up

I wanted to get this item for a long time and I finally purchased it on Black Friday at a great price. Unfortuneatly I had to return the item because it needed to be hard wired and I needed something that was battery powered. The wires for my doorbell are broken somewhere in the wall and cannot be used.

Easy to set up (do not set up with apple watch or you do not get notifications on your iphone). Capture most of what happens at my front door but if someone is really quick it will not capture the image of that person. In hind sigh should have bought the latest version of this doorbell.

kind of does everything they claim I got it and Alexa on sale at Best Buy $49 for both are fun to play with but not hard to understand why they came out with Ring2 but good for the price a Best Buy for sure.

We wanted a simple but reliable security camera. After talking with others & researching, we chose the Smart Video Door Bell. It was easy to install, customer service even helped us with this. With some tweaking for resolution adjustment, it's worked great for us. We'd recommend this to others.

Worksike a charm...i use battery so in colder weather it drains faster about every 21 to 28 days it needs to be charged...takes 4 hours...video quality good motion detection works great and for 30 a year you get to keep recordings..otherwise it be 5 star if it was free

This is a great product for when you are not home.

These are great but we only got the recording function for about a month. Cant see why a memory isnt included to do the recordings, like the way my car dashcam works but then Ring wont make any money.

The Ring is solid, except the camera quality is fair. The Ring 2 has a better camera picture and few features the Ring does not. I have the Ring 1 one in an area which isn't as sensitive which works for my security.
