The ring doorbell is just anothe safety net for your home. Records every movement. which is perfect for when you are away and miss anything when you could've been home. I also recommend to get the other cameras as well.

Ring has many products that put home security at the forefront of consumers minds. The doorbell camera is a great start to seeing not only who comes to your door and ring door bell but those that walk or drive by and activate the sensors you set. Excellent.

This has been very helpful to know when a package arrives and I think it deters possible thief's. There is a delay from when it sends it to your phone. Could be my internet. But usually the person is gone by the time I get notified.

It works as advertised but it's only as good as your internet connection. Occasionally it can become annoying i.e. Making trips in and out with groceries, but I overlook it for the security and convenience.

All the reviews of this product provided what we were looking for. Our problem was that we did not have a proper door frame for properly mounting the product. We were not able to get the proper camera angle.

It’s good to see who has been at the door. If we’re away and get a notice on our phone that someone is at the door it takes a long time to connect. The person is usually gone by the time our phone connects.

Would be nice to have if you didn’t have to pay for the continuing software. Video quality at night is just ok. Should have gotten the pro version for the better quality.

Make a ring doorbell that is powered by electricity okay? Really, recharge a doorbell? Ring designers please engineer an electric doorbell - it is not a new concept.

This is the best thing I have purchased ever! Easy to install wiring or without. The clarity is amazing and the view is better than I could have hoped for. The neighborhood alerts keep you informed about everything going on around you.

I USE IT MOSTLY TO SEE IF THE MAILMAN HAS GONE BY. LATELY I'VE NOTICED SOMETIMES THE MAILMAN MOTION IS NOT BEING RECORDED OR WHEN I GO OUT THE FRONT DOOR, I STILL FIND IT TO BE A USEFUL ITEM.

My internet speeds is thru TWC (TURBO) still have freeze frame, delay in motion detection plus audio delays. I would want anybody to know this before buying.

The app & setup was very easy. But the overall quality of video is just meh. The UI of the app is also not easy or functional. I used Ring & Arlo side by side & by far Aro kicked Rings butt in very department. BTW Arlo is free with no monthly fees.

We've had our Ring doorbell for a couple of months and it works great. We did have an small issue with the installation so we contacted customer service and they resolved the issue. Their customer service is great!! Would definitely recommend it.

I bought this as a gift for my granddaughter for security for her first home's she loves it seeing who's at the door without having to get up since she just had my first great granddaughter. She knows who it is before She answers it.

I really like the product. It helps to have it at home. It works better went you have it hard code to your door bell. The wifi connection took a little while to setup but after it was done. It works great.

The technology is a great idea but the device is too big. I have a standard entry front door and i still don't have the space to mount this device. There is a small subscription fee for the cloud service.

I work away from home and bought this for my wife as she is nervous answering the door to strangers. Being able to see, and speak to people at the door really put her mind at ease. The app and remote access really makes things easy.

I'm not a huge fan of the IoT, but this is an exception. I liked it so much I recently added a camera to another area of my property. One star taken off due to the need for a subscription to download videos and no local storage.

Looking for something after home invasion. This was highly recommended by a friend so we read all we could find. I really like that even if we are away from home - we are notified of anything that moves near the front door - and we can see who/what it is!! Very pleased with this unit.

I bought this camera, not as a doorbell camera, but to watch my dog in his kennel. He broke his leg so while I am working, I am able to check in on him and make sure he is not in distress. Great night vision. Has been a life saver for me!!
