This ring I use as my peephole since my door doesn't have one. It does the job pretty well. Just when the people are about 10 ft away it gets blurry. Overall I'm pleased with it.

I had one previously, and for some unknown reason, it quit showing the camera view, so I got another one, same kind and size so my drilled holes would still work for installation.

Easy install. Great picture with incredible coverage. Poor response time, they've left before app connects!

Thinking of switching to a different device. Device is less than 20 feet from WiFi router and has considerable connection issues. Most of the time I get an alert of some type. The person or motion detected is long gone if I can even get the video to pull up. I am not sure I would recommend this particular product. Maybe the newer generations have improved. Video and sound quality is good when it works.

Very dependent on a fast connection both at home and phone. Works well but I find I'm frequently waiting to connect. Cloud service is a must so you can go back and watch videos.

Background lighting is to bright. Can not adjust in settings. Upon play back of recording picture is clear then bright light appears in back ground.

This is the best new item you should purchase on the market today! It's not just a doorbell. You can see any motion and have the ability to talk to anyone from anywhere you are that occurs outside your front door. Affordable and worth every dollar!

I love the Ring doorbell camera the only thing I would change is sometimes the lag between motion or a ring and being able to see it on your phone is long and the person is gone by the time you pull it up.

It replaced my traditional Doorbell and l can't tell how happy I am with this product. I have answered numerous solicitors at my door without me actually being at home. Better yet, it has motion sensor functions that you can tweak to fit your need.

I feel it is a great idea, u unfortunately I could not get as widespread coverage as I would have liked due to the way it had to be installed. My door frame obscures some of the camera view.

I love Ring and the ability to see who is at my front door. Great around the holidays to see package deliveries too. The ongoing monitoring/storage costs aren’t my favorite, but the functionality is worth the small ongoing cost.

We installed this Ring Wi-fi Video Doorbell and love having the ability to see who is at our gate and being able to save the video on the cloud just makes it even better. Feeling much safer being able to see who is at the gate before I answer the door.

Love the product however connection sometimes takes time. Once you have your free 30 day expires you either can only see in love or if someone rings bell otherwise you have to pay $3 a month to save recordings

This is a good camera for the price. But I needed something a little more flexible so I went with the Arlo. The Ring app worked very well for me.

I bought this for my inlaws who have a gate not far from their house. Works great for alerts and sending video. UnTIL the 30 days is up and you have to pay $7 a month to see the alerts. No on board storage and everything sent to a cloud service. After 4 months the device locked up out of the blue. Couldnt get it to reconnect. It would go on the wifi the fall off. After hours on the ohone with ring they found the error on their side then it started working again. Great product but the monthly fees are too much. I reccomend the hikvision version over this.

Didn’t think I would like this as much as I do. My only drawback is that I have to charge it. Not the fault of the Ring. I don’t have the ability to hardwire it to my home. Captures quite a distance out if need be.

This doorbell is very easy to set up. However, it does not allow any integration with existing camera systems, so the only way to get recording is to subscribe to their monthly service.

I love my Ring doorbell. Easy to install and does exactly what it is supposed to do. My only complaint is the range isn't great. Even when placed very near my router the signal strength is not great.

Great product, great security protection, love ring, but I suggest if you want better camera action there upgrade may be a better quality camera, but not sure if worth the extra $100.

Love the product itself but, there are some nuances that can be better in future. For Ex. positioning of camera in door bell based on placement location or custom motion sensor zone independent of circular radius.
