Video quality is decent for what it is. Didn’t realize I had to pay another $5/ month to store video on ring app

The doorbell works as advertised. The settings need to be tweaked so that you don't get false alerts. The other drawback is once your 30 day trail ends, you can't even go back to view rings that you missed.

Really is nice to be able to see who is coming and who is going. My only issue is that it records 20 second or so. Some times the movement is still going and it shuts off.

A great useful tool. Allows you to monitor your home whenever there is motion, talk to people while away and able to record video and distribute as needed in case of a event.

Picture isn’t clear. It will pick up trucks passing on the street but people have to be right on top of it. Video is very slow to load and will not always load when a few miles away.

I've used several of the competitors products, but the ring is the ONLY option for those that do not have, and do not want to run a typical doorbell, transformer, and chime set up. Great options

Really like these are cloud connected. Very easy to use w smartphones anywhere and freaks people out when you aren’t there and you ask them what they want. Need strong wifi signal around camera

I bought this for me home. I love being able to see who is at my door and also being able to talk to them. My son has the ap on his phone too so he can see who is there. Gives us peace of mind.

I love seeing who is at my door no matter where I am on my cell phone. I have even caught the mailman singing as he was delivering the mail. I can tell a person I can not come to the door even if I am not at home.

If you only need it for your porch it’s great. But I needed to see a little bit farther. So I returned this and bought the ring 2 it has a much better camera.

Mounting wasn't easy for us with the design of the brick house. Enjoy the features and keeps us alert with crimes in the vacinity. Love that you can view from your cell.

I love my Ring doorbell. It works great and the battery lasts for months with frequent use. I will suggest having a newer wifi router that is capable of handling many devices otherwise you won't get the full benefit.

Don't like the lasp of time when someone rings the bell and by the time you get to answer the door with your phone. Hopefully they will update that.

I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Because even though it is good when it is working I have had to reset it twice. Not sure why this is happening but will continue to try to figure it out.

I actually had a defective one to start and Ring sent me a replacement. The features are great and I recommend it for anyone that wants to upgrade their doorbell.

My sons recommended I buy the Ring. One son hard wired it, but I plan to take it with me when I move. A great safety feature, especially for women. Have already recommended it to a neighbor.

These things are stellar and I can’t imagine a house without these. I bought mine and have not stopped recommending them to my family and friends. The monthly or yearly fee is dirt cheap too

Good Doorbell. Video quality could be better, however since it's the first version I know that it was improved with later versions. Serves its purpose for us. :-)

The ring door bell was purchased so I would not have to put a peek hole in my front door but I am so glad I have it. I can be in the back yard and answer the front door. The app for the phone is easy to download and use.

This camera works great.. It’s absolutely the best investment I have ever made for home protection. My kids and I are able to keep an eye on the house and the kids.. Just Great!
