This thing is amazing. Get within 30’ of my house and the motion detection turns the camera on, sends a notification to our phones, and has amazing quality. We have them at home and at work.

The bell installed easily and works as advertised. The problem is how long it takes to make the video & audio connection. Even when both devices are in the same good wifi signal, it takes exactly 27 seconds from the Ring notice sounding on the iPhone to first look. When the phone is on an ordinary cell signal (such as away from home), that connection takes even longer and fails fully half the time. So, don't believe the ads that imply a nearly instant ability to see and talk through the bell.

I purchased this unit to add an additional layer of security at my condo at the beach. I felt that by notifying me when someone is on the property at the front door would allows me to see and speak with anyone at my front door. This gives me the ability of providing the impression that I am at home on matter where I actually may be. It is easy to set up and I particularly like the option of saving recordings to their cloud service. It is worth the expense to be able to view the recordings regardless of my actual location

I bought The Ring camera because of an incident that happened to my mom. I’ve caught a lot of people on video paranoid or when they see it they back away. Couldn’t have made a better choice.

I wanted a good solution to know when I received packages at home while at work. I also wanted to know who was ringing the door bell before opening. This does the job and was easy to setup!

I love this product really comes in handy being I live on a hillside, we get a lot of people walking on our street for the views and I have had a lot of mail missing or find it on the floor

If you don’t have a wired doorbell this can help, the only thing I don’t like is I live in a cold climate so the battery doesn’t last as long. Recommended to family.

Love it. It was easy to set up. It alerts me when its suppose to. Another great thing is you can share your videos with others nearby that also have ring to warn or see if they can help. You get alerts when someone uploads a video and you can also respond to them. It's a clear video that records with sound. You can talk to someone if they ring the bell or keep an eye on them if they have no business being there.

This is a good product for inexpensive home security. Was easy to install, but wish came with angling mount. There is sometimes a bit of lag before the camera starts to record. The video quality is good for the price. Wish the recording didn’t have annual fee, but $30/year is well worth it. Also love how this is acts as an intercom, so I don’t have to answer the door.

Gave to my daughter. Picks up when anyone approaches the house and the image is much clearer than I expected. Was a good purchase and would recommend for anyone. She is very happy with it.

It's awesome to see who is at my door from the comfort of my couch. No longer do I have to get up and stare through a tiny peephole to see if the pizza is here. 10/10 slices eaten tonight.

I like the Ring video doorbell. Works as advertised and the audio ability is a nice feature. Just make sure you have a strong WiFi signal at your door and you shouldn’t have any problems.

Very easy to install and I was extremely impressed on picture quality. The Ring customer service dept was extreamly nice and helpful with trouble shooting the first connection to my wifi.

This doorbell works really well. I do have a lot of false alarms but hey it is pretty cheap for what you get. Every time somebody walks to my front door I am notified and I can watch them and listen to whatever they have to say. I can even chat with them from my job. Even with all the false alarm I would not change buying this device

To configure Ring doorbell was easy to find the wifi. The hardest part might be drilled your wall such as brickwall other than that it was very easy to install after drilled is completed.

I really like how easy it was to make install and setup. Really easy to understand how to use without instructions. Works great and as expected. Love the additional door bell I purchased.

I feel more secure with the Ring on my door. The set up and install instructions were clear and easy to follow. I do not have a wired doorbell and this plus the chime are truly wonderful

This device has already served a great purpose. I was able to identify somethings going on at my property while I was away. I actually have one at the front door and one in the backyard.

Great product. Sometimes video is slow to upgrade. I have been able to report to the doorbell whereever I am and see who is messing around on my porch with out ringing the doorbell.

Excellent device. I have many of these and they work well as a door bell and a simple video recorder. Resolution is pretty good at night. Recommend low level light for best use at night.
