I would recommend trying the Ring 2. Video quality might be better. Ring 2 also comes with a wedge kit I’ve heard. I had to spend another $20 for a wedge kit for my Ring doorbell to change angle so it doesn’t pick up every car going by.

I love the chime and the activity screen but I can't talk to anyone at my front door when I am outside of my home. The customer service is great at Ring.com.. I worked with the owner and he sent me a WiFi booster for free. I worked with every company who might be able to fix this problem no one could. So I am glad I have the chime, the bell, the free wifi booster and the activity screen and I am keeping the Ring, but I cannot answer a call outside of the house. I would recommend this for the items that worked
