This product simply did not work right for me. It would occasionally work and show video, but disconnected all the time. I have 3 Wyze cams that are great and all connect to the internet fine, even the one that was just as far away as the Ring doorbell, so the problem isn't my internet. I even took the whole ring doorbell off from outside and put it right next to my router and it still had problems. Maybe it's the app, maybe I got a defective one, but I just returned it because I don't have time for the hassle of troubleshooting when something as cheap and simple as a Wyze cam works perfectly right away. Plus, Ring gives you a free trial then makes you pay for cloud storage. I would still like a doorbell that records video right and has free cloud storage, but I will settle for the Wyze cams pointing out the window for now.

I highly recommend this product to anyone that is looking for peace of mind while you are away from home.

I was excited about making this purchase until the battery died. When I went to purchase it I ask the salesperson to tell me the difference between the ring and ring2 he said the picture quality was the only thing. Boy was he wrong. I didn't know that you have to take the whole thing off to charge it. DO Not misplace the screwdriver!!!!!!!! Like I did I call ring directly told them the one I had and they still sent the wrong screwdriver. The charging feature is very important to me I wish I was informed when I purchased it because I would have gotten the ring 2. Now I'm stuck with a ring that's not charge and I'm pass the return time frame. Very unhappy
