As with any other web connected device, the manufacturer typically blames bandwidth and the ISP blames the manufacturer, leaving me with no solution.

Though it works like it should the camera view is convex whereas the Ring2 I have is a regular view. All in all it works. Though I wouldn’t recommend the original ring I would definitely recommend the ring2

If someone attempts to break in, my video is gone unless I pay Ring to retain it. I shouldn't have to pay extra to gain access to video of my own home. I should have an option available to save the video to my personal cloud drive! You also need a completely flat surface to install correctly. It doesn't fit well on our siding.

Without this plan, you'll still receive real-time video alerts on your smartphone when someone presses the doorbell or when motion is triggered. We do notify our customers about our cloud plan on the website (ring.com/cloud-recording), in your Ring app during the first free 30day trial and in your email as well.
