The doorbell itself is wonderful although difficult to install on siding. Picture and sound work great, app is very user friendly. The only reason it is not getting 5 stars is because the packaging does not mention the recurring subscription you need to purchase if you want any recorded videos (any thing other than live).

I really like the doorbell system-I like that you can speak with ringers from your cell phone and look at the live camera view whenever you’d like. the one thing I’m struggling with is occasionally the camera won’t sense motion (it’s happened twice since I installed it two weeks ago). Other than that I’m very happy with it.

Love it. I get alerts on my smart watch when there's movement. Picture quality is great. Can communicate with whoever rings the bell. Don't have to open the door.

I bought this on Black Friday finally installing it tomorrow. These things are awesome I’ve got friends that have them and I had to buy it.

I HAVE RECENTLY BEEN READING POLICE REPORTS WHERE OWNERS OF THESE CAMERAS HAVE USED THEM TO SPOT INTRUDERS, AS WELL AS THIEVES. CAN'T WAIT TO START USING MINE!

This is the best doorbell in it's class, I can see and hear what's going on out side my door with out a wire.

One of the best purchases I've made! Let's me know when someone is near my door. And really awesome that I can talk to and listen to anyone that rings the bell!

This is almost a must have for any homeowner. Very easy to install and a great feature to see someone at door and get notification alerts when someone on porch

I can't begin to tell you how many packages the ring has caught being throw in front of my door at a distance,one of which contained glass drinkware that broke and you could hear it breaking in the video. We bought this for security purposes and it's totally paid off... A lot of people back away from your door once they see a ring doorbell, especially solicitors.

This has been awesome. We love knowing when someone is at our house when we are not there. It's a good feeling being proactive to prevent or catch a break in.

My experience with this doorbell is that the concept appears to be better than the reality. I can hear the chimes when I am away from home and can see who's at my door; however, I haven't been able to answer the door from a remote location because something always seem to be wrong with the audio connectivity (circle never stops moving). I haven't had the time to put in a ticket for the fix. Otherwise, it appears to do most of what it is supposed to do.

This was fairly easy to install. It changed my doorbell sound to a low sounding buzz, so I had to buy the additional ring and set it up.

Read reviews before buying this on Black Friday. This camera is amazing and adds a layer of security for the holidays. Definitely recommend. Very easy setup.

Easy to install and intuitive to understand directions. The Ring doorbell makes my house feel much more secure, especially in tracking of delivery packages.

Love this! I was told that the video is a little delayed from real time but that is not my experience at all. I purchased two doorbells and put one on front and one at back door. Couldn't be happier with how they work, the ease of installation and the quality of the video. I would recommend the $3 per month to keep video recordings. Totally worth it!

I waited for a while but started to.see neighbors around me buying these for security purposes. It's now part of my every day rituals especially with.my mom having health issues. It was easy to put up and easy to charge too like my cell phone. I know there's a monthly service with more items to.use but I might wait on it. Highly recommended!!

So far it has been great. I know when someone is at my door regardless of where I am with a simple notification from my phone. the video quality is as well.

Bought this because it was on sale but I really like it. It is a little big in size, but I got use to it. Nice to know who is at the door when I'm not home.

Works pretty well. Not as sensitive as I would like. But it did it’s job and caught a thief taking a package from my porch! Well done!!

It is a nice, although expensive unit. Mine is on power, daughter's is on battery, so I liked it well enough to buy a second. If you are on battery, you need the chime add-on. Two drawbacks: fisheye lens does not give very good resolution and there is a tendency to mount unit too high so you don't see the package in someone's hands. Also there is a time delay of several seconds before phone buzzes with a motion indication. By then the person at the door may have already dropped a package and left. So if you want to know why motion was detected, you have to spend the $3 per month (or $30 annual payment) to see the "movie" on the cloud-a very necessary feature, but free with the basic Arlo camera system. Sunlight frequently washes out the distant background. You can adjust the motion detection sensitivity and distance range by three tiers of zones and several left to right zones. Nice if your door faces a street and you do not want traffic to trip your motion sensor. You can also access the camera at any time and see and listen to what is happening at your front door and also turn on the speaker and communicate back and forth, even if they never rang the doorbell. In all a very nice setup except that because of the advertising, nobody will be fooled into thinking that you might be home when you answer it.
