Super happy with the ring! First day with the device I caught a random person taking a picture of my front door. Worth the money for the sense of security!

This is a great tool to know what's going on at your house. Also lets you know when packages are delivered etc... easy to install and hook up to the WI-FI. Great product!!

We have had this camera for a little over a month. Easy installation. The location on our house isn't ideal, but unless we want to move the original door bell, it will do for now. Had to adjust the sensitivity on it a couple times as we didn't want a notification after every car that drove by or every person walking their dog.

My husband attached the unit easily to the outside of our vacation home while I connected it to my iphone. The process was easy. It is good to have a visual when someone rings the doorbell since our living area is upstairs from the front door. The only con is that a strong wifi is needed so there is no delay in capturing the image if someone walks away.

This is a really good doorbell for the price. I will say that it occasionally has issues connecting me to live view within the app, but other than that, no real trouble. The video quality is good but could be a little better. Same for battery life. All in all it's a good doorbell for the price.

Love the ring doorbell. Good sound and picture. My only concern is that it seams to pick up quite a bit of light from the background

This is one of the best purchases we’ve ever made. Great for security. My only complaint is that the motion sensor captures literally everything so I do get a notification every time a car drives by; however, I’m almost certain that they addressed this in the newest model. Regardless of that, it’s still a wonderful product.

Very is easy to setup and install. So far I’m very pleased with the Ring Door Bell. I highly recommend getting one for safety and security of your home.

I have always been worried about someone stealing stuff off my porch. I am not worried anymore. I can see everything that happens in my yard and porch.

The Ring Doorbell is a great product. Here are my personal Pros/Cons. Pros: - We love being able to see what's going on outside of our front door entry when we're not home. - Ability to verbally communicate with who's at our door. (Our kids love to say hi/bye to whichever parent isn't with them at the time) - Installation was quick and easy. Cons: - I've noticed a delay when answering a notification of movement. If a notification comes on my phone and I go to look at what's going on, most times the person is already gone from my entryway by the time the video feed turns on. I've noticed this with delivery people who are in and out under 10 seconds dropping a package off. It's better if I don't "answer" the motion detection and let the "activity" record on the cloud and I check it later. - Monthly subscription to cloud storing service. I think this is something that should be factored into the price of the unit or should have 2-day to 1 week free storage which is enough to be able to download and pull a specific event off of the cloud to your local hard drive, etc. if wanted. Would I buy the Ring Doorbell again? Yes. Would I recommend it to someone? Yes. I just wish/hope they the company addresses the few cons I have in future updates.

Love that I can see if people are at my door, especially when packages are delivered. A real piece of mind, knowing I can watch things when I am away.

Just couldn't pass this up for the price. Ring doorbell always rates highest of all doorbells out there. Was easy to set up. Highly recommend purchase.

For $80.00 ...... you can't go wrong. I use the Ring 1st Gen video 720p doorbell for the back porch. I bought the 2nd Gen for the front door and the 2nd Gen is a much better product with the 1080p ..... but the 1st Gen is fine to cover a low activity area. Install is easy and the battery is still hanging in there after 3 weeks with me viewing it often on the "LIVE VIEW" feature. To charge it you just have to remove it from the wall or door frame and plug into a USB power adapter. The camera does not come with the power adapter ( it does come with the USB cord ). I used my 2.4 amp Apple iPad USB power adapter. I tried the 1 amp USB power adapter for my iphone first... but it got really hot and flipped to the higher amp iPad adapter. The only downside is that you have to be fairly close to your WIFI router. You may need to buy a WIFI extender or change the location of your router to get a good connection. The Ring app will tell what kind of signal strength you have.

Works great video quality and sound quality was amazing. Need to pay extra after 30day trial, to keep videos but overall worth it

This is my second purchase of a Ring Doorbell. I have one for the front and back of my home. Works very well and the are great updates that the company provides for free. You can easily manage the notifications on your phone, computer and tablet. Every home should have at least one. Easy install. Takes about 10 to 15 minutes to install.

This gadget takes the guess work out of seeing whose at my door. It is a little annoying sometimes with the motion detection as it triggers a notification, but otherwise I could not imagine life without this useful treasure. Images are clear and it is the perfect deterrent for unwanted guests. Simple easy-to-use installation instructions.
